I'm not sure what the Roosters are up to. They re-signed Tupou for 4 years last season and he has been playing well. I honestly think they just like stacking their team with as much talent as possible (because let's face it, they can) and then they sit back and see who works out best and they chuck out the rest. Nice to have that luxury.

"I’ve got some contract news regarding the Titan's cult figure winger Anthony Don," said Badel.

"I’m hearing he’s been asked to take a $60 000 pay cut to stay at Robina. It’s been a kick in the gut for a guy who’s been their best back last year, he was outstanding.

"He was hoping to stay on, Anthony, but he hasn’t ruled it out at this stage but I’m hearing that he’s got offers on the table from two clubs in Sydney: the Wests Tigers and the Sharks. He will make a call on Monday but at this stage unless the Titans tighten their offer, which I don’t think they’ll do, I think Anthony Don will face the prospect of leaving the Titans and moving to Sydney next season."
 
Don would be a great signing - tall, speedy, great diffuser of high kicks, great finisher .. a real team player and not egotistic so will slot straight in at the tigers!

Where on earth would the Sharks fit him in?
Unless a few are going we don't know about yet.
 
CH9 news just had a short headline about Brooks wanting to be signed now, It was linked to the WTs' capacity to sign NC if Brooks is signed, I don't believe it is a story because IC now doubt would want both and I'd be surprised if provision for both to be signed has not been made,
 
Since when is Don a Cult hero?

He's just a big lanky winger right? He's solid, i'd take him over MWZ. Not sure if overall he's better than Nof and Corey though

Maybe they will release Holmes to the Cowboys if they can get Don

Ive been waiting for this to come up. Luke Brooks and his manager would seem to have every right to want to know the coach's intentions to sign Nathan and what that means for Luke future.
 
Brooks came across as humble and he is not demanding to be signed,. He said he wanted to stay at the club and loved it, Let's hope we get can sign NC as well. We kept the right player,
 
Luke is on a good salary for what he has done so far. Whilst his improvement has been impressive, some of that is because we have spread our salary cap better amongst the team. How many years does he have left on his current contract? Isn't it another two?

Leaving is a decision he needs to make, but I wouldn't be offering any more cash as I think he is on what he is worth.
