Yea thats fair, maybe thats why having an additional general chat would actually work though? You could actually redirect other traffic to one convenient location rather than into multiple, and regulate this one better as there is a clear one size fits all alternative.

I think he’s done the best he can be employing sheens… but don’t forget Justin did a channel 9 interview saying we had put an attractive package to Ciraldo and the next day Cameron signed with the dogs.

Moses was obviously the better player when he played with Brooks. Just watch the 2016 highlights to see how creatively Moses set up so many tries.

Moses did and still does lack heart. Is a flat track bully. Looks good when Parramatta are in control, but I have not seen him take control of a a clutch game and win it.

Great halves are very rare, and Moses is not one of them. Good player, but not worth anywhere near $1.4m and not close to the best player in the game.

He has massive support in the media, but has undelivered on the big stages

I think talk of $1.4m is crazy.

Eels would offer 900-950k with increase in cap I reckon. Offer 1.1 mill

He's not a halfback. He can't organise. He's a running 5/8th.

If his contract gets reduced 40% I don't mind him in the side but like I said good side or not he does some rookie things over and over.

Sign Moses and have 5/8th clear in 2024 to get someone if none of our players aim up.

His employer has been outstanding for the past decade in keeping him safe, secure and protected.

Brooks is a lucky guy.

Great halves are very rare and valuable but in the right team good ones can be just as beneficial.
We are one team of those teams that could benefit.
In rebuilding our side we have added not just experience but first class players at Prop, Hooker and Second row. Outside of the forward pack the team is light on in experience and first class players.
The tigers need a half, a first class one.
Moses may not be the best half in the game but he is up there and is playing a consistent level of top class football. He is a first class goal kicker, has speed and agility, can read a game and read a defensive weakness / incorrect decision.
With Brooks being our only other half with similar amount of experience I’d say he would be very valuable for us.

Offer to take Brown off Parras hands 60% of his contract. Be around 1.4 mill all up. It's Nathan's last year at Eels so it won't effect us signing Moses and alleviating the Eels cap

There will probably be quite a few choices we’ll be arguing about during next season but all you can is respect Sheens and judge later.

I think one wayward post isn’t something to get hung up on but the first responder should be the signal to move them.
I had a post moved from from “mental health” to “memories” because it contained the phrase “ do you remember” lol, when quite clearly it was a discussion relating to head knocks and latent brain damage.

This is a general statement moving forward to new season which we all hope will be the start of a successful rebuild...we are all eager to see and read things that are positive for a change.
There has been a few complaints that this thread is full of rumours. 🤣🤣🤣
HOWEVER we always go off the track and talk about anything but Signing Suggestions & Rumours.
In fairness to those who want to catch up with all the gos, they shouldn't have to wade through pages of unrelated posts.
Traditionally, this thread is a dumping ground for the first thoughts that pop into member's minds.
We have individual players threads in the Contracts section so please use these.
If you have a comment to make on say, Junior Tupou #254, please put it in his dedicated thread and not in here.
If your post is not about a player "Signing suggestion & Rumours please post it in an applicable thread like "Now for Something Completely Different" or maybe the awesome thread that Browny started "Memories" or the humour, politics other sports topics.
It's understandable why members like chatting in here. It's because that's where most members hang out.
Or they want to hear of that new signing, but if you post something interesting in another thread then members will read it and follow....go you can do it! 😉
In general we all go off track and its unavoidable, I've done it.
Generally 3-4 posts wandering off is ok but at some stage we have to get back on topic.
