I certainly agree Wests Tigers paid way to much for Brooks and I direct blame and criticism at those who made that decision.

It must have been a back ended contract though. He was never on a 6 figure salary and now he appears to be on that amount. It also appears to peak next season.

The thing with Brooks he has been on the park and he isn't that bad. Reynolds and Mbye are examples of really bad signings and I don't think Brooks is in that category.

In the past we have signed some so called big names who were either over the hill and half way down the other side or were over rated in the first place. Our latest recruitment drive we have signed and chasing players who have recent runs on the board and plenty to offer. Such a big change from the past.

Things will take time to gel but by the back end of next season we should see a pretty competitive team and by 2024 we should make some real progress up the ladder

I think Madge’s biggest mistake was he liked his players to much over the time he was here we Hardly changed the 17 each week he just stuck with people who were clearly failing

If he plays like he did in 2021 he'll be fine. He was our best by far

That and had a one dimensional way of tactically approaching the game. Even though it was clear to blind Freddy we didn't have the players to suit the style he wanted he didn't adapt the game plan to suit the squad available.

I would have thought if MM was staying at Parramatta he would have resigned by now. IMO 2nd best half back in the comp with the best long kicking game, defends strong now and has a super running game. At his peak of his powers, come home Mitch!!
