A couple of things posted here, firstly that Liddle is injury prone. This is a term which is thrown around without any questioning of the logic behind it. People are neither injury prone, nor not injury prone; it is simply a matter of blind luck as to whether a player gets injured or doesn't get injured.

I remember people predicting Benji wouldn't get to 100 games with his shoulder problems. And how many times did Mal break his arm?

Mal only broke his arm once but the cast was his secret weapon for fending off other players.
His cast is in a glass display case in the NRL hall of fame.

"Meninga didn't manage to serve a second spell at Knowsley Road, for a variety of reasons, not least being a succession of injuries (three broken arms suffered in 1987 and 1988 respectively) that also punctuated his career in Australia"

I’d like to see young Blayke Brailey added to our roster. He’s skillful, quick, offers a sharp accurate service and is potentially a better player than his brother Jayden. Blayke is still a bit slight and needs to build and strengthen his body, but I think he’d be worth investing in. Both brothers are specialist hookers and will eventually become 80 minute first graders, so the reality is one of them will need to find another club if they are to make the most of their careers in the NRL.

There's a third brother - Jaxxxxon Brailey (with 4 x's) - arguably bigger and stronger than the first two. And their younger sister Bryannah Brailey.

Seriously though, what sort of Shire bogan trendy trashbags are their parents giving their kids such horrible names? Especially with their surname already being a little bit complicated. Horrendous.

EXXXX Qlders?

Or Porn Stars ?

Or maybe both… Exxxx Queensland Porn Stars!

How exactly will you know? If we don’t sign them does that automatically mean we didn’t try?

So should we just assume that the club has our back and they will talk to those blokes?

We should assume that the club will assemble the strongest squad possible with the resources they have. Do you really think they would do otherwise?

Given the rate in which this club makes top 8's you can not expect the fans to just line up blind like that.

Well realistically you don’t have a choice. You can discuss opinions on who you’d like all you want but the club isn’t going to be giving a running commentary on negotiations. If they don’t sign the players you want there could be a very good reason.

Yes we can discuss options. We spell out our opinions, our thoughts, who we want, what we would like to see, express our disappointment at a lack of supposed interest in certain players etc etc

Its called a forum.

I dont subscribe to the we are chasing good players you just dont hear about it because you are a fan and not in the know thing.

This day and age almost every contract is played out in the media before it is official.

There’d be a 1000 blokes out there who didn’t make 100 games due to injury.
But you are right with 2 you named.

Wests Tigers have poached up-and-coming Roosters outside back Paul Momirovski for next season, with the NSW junior representative moving to Concord from 2019.

Momirovski made history earlier this year when he, Poasa Faamausili and Sean O'Sullivan became the first trio of players to all score in their debut games in the Roosters 20-12 defeat of the Gold Coast.

To date that remains Momirovski's only NRL appearance, but he has featured in an impressive cohort of juniors coming through at Bondi, playing alongside Victor Radley, Joseph Manu and Nat Butcher in an under 20s premiership and captaining Latrell Mitchell and Connor Watson at SG Ball level.

Momirovski, 22, also represented NSW under 18s before two season-ending shoulder reconstructions delayed his progress to first grade.

His signing adds further depth to Ivan Cleary's backline stocks next year at the Tigers.

Thoughts? Looks promising…
