Would take Gutho of them to fill our vacant centre position other than that not to fussed with what they have

They'd be crazy to release him…
Agree tho. Just didnt think it'd be an option.

Your right no chance, but You never know strange things happen

So Gutho. BROWN SAUCE and Lil Pritchard… Take em all...

Great idea. Let's take half the team who won the wooden spoon.

A couple of things posted here, firstly that Liddle is injury prone. This is a term which is thrown around without any questioning of the logic behind it. People are neither injury prone, nor not injury prone; it is simply a matter of blind luck as to whether a player gets injured or doesn't get injured. Have a look at the St. George game today and watch how Nightingale picks up a dislocated elbow. Is he prone to elbow injuries? No, just bad luck in a highly physical game. What about Benji and his shoulder woes some years back. Looking at him now, you couldn't say that he's prone to shoulder injuries but he was labelled as injury prone back then. In fact, shoulder reconstructions, otherwise known as rotator cuff injuries are very common in the wider community and this is what Liddle suffered in both shoulders. Plain old dumb luck that he suffered rotator cuff tears in both shoulders at the same time.

Secondly, the need for a back up hooker. All clubs have a hooker running around in ISP but why? Well, presumably it would be as cover for the first grade hooker and if the ISP hooker is not good enough for that, it's down to poor recruiting, something that Wests Tigers are not immune to. I agree that somebody like Matt Parcell would be good to recruit but Jacob will be a great NRL Number 9 for us, going on to be a rep player.

Well said - agree with everything you posted.

Gus Gould reckons Taupau and Segeyaro to the Eels. Wonder who they are releasing as they wouldn’t have cap room with Paulo coming at 700k p.a.

They're the players we need… ?

Oh well, we'll take Nathan Brown and Kaysa Pritchard....

Would take Gutho of them to fill our vacant centre position other than that not to fussed with what they have

dont forget they signed ferguson on $550,000 per season

And you believe Gus fooled
And who told him that tapau was going to Parramatta
The Parramatta board
Wasnt Gus the guy who said Griffen would see out his contract
Then he sacked him

Hard to be successful with that cancerous brat Moses in the team….

I’d like to see young Blayke Brailey added to our roster. He’s skillful, quick, offers a sharp accurate service and is potentially a better player than his brother Jayden. Blayke is still a bit slight and needs to build and strengthen his body, but I think he’d be worth investing in. Both brothers are specialist hookers and will eventually become 80 minute first graders, so the reality is one of them will need to find another club if they are to make the most of their careers in the NRL.

There's a third brother - Jaxxxxon Brailey (with 4 x's) - arguably bigger and stronger than the first two. And their younger sister Bryannah Brailey.

Seriously though, what sort of Shire bogan trendy trashbags are their parents giving their kids such horrible names? Especially with their surname already being a little bit complicated. Horrendous.

EXXXX Qlders?

I realise the Eels will get the wooden spoon. However, signing Junior Paulo, Ferguson & Lane whilst still not having any success in moving Norman on and with Jennings on supposedly $800,000 a season they must have to be moving on or willing to release a player or 2 to be cap compliant for next season(even though this is not always the case with the Eels). Beau Scott has retired but not many other big names on good money have moved on as yet. Therefore, if Norman and Jennings stay then players like Nathan Brown or Gutho may become casualties (only the good ones will attract interest from rival clubs), may yet secure a decent signing out of the Eels due to them spending big money on their recent signings plus current players be on big money.

Id be very disappointed if Koroisau and Taupau were on the market and we didn't make a massive offer.

Prepare yourself to be very disappointed.

Haha too true

How exactly will you know? If we don’t sign them does that automatically mean we didn’t try?

So should we just assume that the club has our back and they will talk to those blokes?

How long do we give Benji & Robbie to see if they go around again ?

Just my opinion I think Farah would have already signed for 1 more year if the coaching circus didn't blow up.
Benji -not sure he has got another year in him.
If they both are retiring surely we will hear something in the next few days so the fans have the opportunity to give them a send off.

I remember people predicting Benji wouldn't get to 100 games with his shoulder problems. And how many times did Mal break his arm?

We should assume that the club will assemble the strongest squad possible with the resources they have. Do you really think they would do otherwise?

Given the rate in which this club makes top 8's you can not expect the fans to just line up blind like that.
