There are 2 Conti's. Levi is in SG ball and is very average. Alex Conti is in Harold Matts and had big wraps .Is Conti still only 15? :/
Thought (was hoping lol) he was 17...

You would have to think Brooks will take up at least 700 - 800 k of it.
the perfect scenario is that Brooks and Doueihi become a serviceable enough
That’s the dream my manBrooksy is going to run riot on that
left edge. Our halves are going to be
feasting with Api's service and our
forwards camping in the opposition's
end of the field. I'm not worried about
Moses. They're not going to be at all
competitive as seasons gone by ...
RTS has to be our fullback target
moving forward, he won't make the
AB's squad. Start making phone calls
Brooks is definitely not more than a 600k player, on the numbers we're used to. Under the new, bigger cap that then jumps to 700-750kFair enough. I’d offer LB 600 max unless he starts the year on a tear . Saving up to half a million on what he’s on now. We must have wiggle room if we had 1.4 for Moses and intended to keep Brooks. There’s gotta be money for a huge star if one actually will give the club a chance.
halves are worth 750k 800k minimum at presentIs he really worth that ? What about AD ? The average salary is 370k.
Yea - i'm not convinced we were going to keep Brooks if Moses came. That was media talk and the forum jumped on it. I think everything was on hold until MM made a decision. On the same day he makes that decision Pom says we are looking at extending Brooks for 2 years. Pretty much a stop gap as there is no great halves on the market for the next couple years.Fair enough. Did you not see the Raiders making 60-70m a set for much of the first half of the weekend?Brooksy is going to run riot on that

you wouldn’t scale it across all players though. You’d strategically up the salaries of marquee players or young players in hot demand.Brooks is definitely not more than a 600k player, on the numbers we're used to. Under the new, bigger cap that then jumps to 700-750k
Alex Conti (the highly rated one) is 16/17.Is Conti still only 15? :/

I still say let’s see how he goes in a better team. He was considered fringe origin when we last had a competitive team .Yea - i'm not convinced we were going to keep Brooks if Moses came. 1.4 million out of our cap could pay his and Welsbys salary.Project George Williams incoming
Why? He's cooked. Anyone with eyes could see he was not the player he was when he left for Union. With fast-twitch athletes such as RTS who play right on the edge of physical ability any injuries begin to chip away at performance. Like all good players he managed to offset the decline in his game with greater experience. But you can only do that for so long. I'd say he knew he was no longer the player he was and sought out union because it would extend his career and give him financial security. But when he wasn't being picked (just the NOTION that RTS can't get a game for a pretty mediocre All Blacks outfit would be insane five years ago) his enthusiasm waned. To spend $1.4 million on RTS would be the height of financial mismanagement and the contract would become a millstone around the Tigers' neck for years. Steer clear - at all costs.RTS must be the clubs next target. Worth every cent of $1.4m and is exactly the type of player the club needs
But there's absolutely no need to re-sign Brooks for 2 more years after this one. He has to EARN an extension through playing well THIS season!Yea - i'm not convinced we were going to keep Brooks if Moses came. That was media talk and the forum jumped on it. I think everything was on hold until MM made a decision. On the same day he makes that decision Pom says we are looking at extending Brooks for 2 years. Not much extreme pressure when you’re on 4 competition points after round 16. Let’s judge them in a better team. The biggest problem with our halves isn't their footballing ability, it's decision making and execution under extreme pressure. Moses would not have fixed that, he would have only improved it slightly. Is that worth 1.3m? Not in my opinion.
Brooks and Doueihi will do well in general, and at times be fantastic. I do fear those high pressure moments though. But how many halves put there nail those moments? Not many.
