Only the WT's would ponder this useless exercise.
If I'm been honest, I have no problem with adding M Pearce for rest of this year and next year but not on 750k a year.
He would run all over the current halves and that gives us time to search for a long term 7.
With the team we have we clearly just lack the 7 to settle the ship and Brooks is NOT that person.

Pearce This year and next would be good for us , he is better than both Wakeman and Brooks , Great footy brain and we have a good pack , he would win you games , and I think he would even be better than Hastings , Newcastle we’re average when he was there , we have better players hear than they had

This club has no idea what they’re doing. Had they played Hastings at 7 like they should have from the start we wouldn’t be making these desperate decisions.

Literally the only upside is no brooks.
It just shows they went into the season expecting something different from Brooks than they’d seen for the last decade. Insane.
