I've done a whole thread about this, but the "we aren't recruiting any good players" moaning really is dumb. We've signed Mbye, Matterson and Momirovski in recent months. That is at the very, very least more high-profile recruitment than most clubs have done. It might be more than all of them.

its not about what other clubs have signed its what we haven't signed, we need a top class center we got a rookie, we did get a good backrower, but we need also need a couple of hard nosed props, we got nothing. mybe is a good player, but hes way behind teddy class.

Name the top class centre and two hard nosed props we should have signed. Again, please base it on the list of players who have moved - you can't just chuck out names of people who haven't been available.

Klemmer no chance of coming to us, but we do have a contract offer for a new forward to join us in 2019\. Club hoping announcement can be made in Madges 1st week all going well.
In relation to the "compensation" for Cleary we are only paying about 30% of Madges wage for 2019 as a result.
Good section of the playing group not happy with Cleary hence the "text" being leaked.
Some tweaking of the roster will occur but expect only 1 addition before Christmas.

I don't actually disagree with you. There hasn't been much on the market over the last 6 months but our centre stocks have looked suspect for a long time and it was no secret that Jesse Ramien was going to be a great player. Maybe we tried and were outbid, can't sign 'em all...

Their is a rumour over in Souths land saying Alex Johnston could be going over to Canberra - No doubt a part of Bennett's way at the Bunnies.

A lot of doubt over Wighton so the signing would make sense - Johnston isn't a player the Tigers should exhaust resources on though.

If we could manage SJ I'd jump at the chance, we are super light on for X factor and we have plenty in our squad that speak his lingo bro, even our coach has probably picked up a couple of choice phrases by now

Maybe we move Reynolds back to the Dogs, we don't need him in a SJ & Brooksy scenario where we already have two hookers. Even if we still end up stuck with $300k or so of the JR bill it would free up around $400k and the Dogs would be looking for a PR positive, plus they may be looking at releasing Foran back to Manly and still paying a big chunk of his freight. If they do lose Klemmer, Reynolds could be just the shot to calm a rabid kennel

My prediction… Des wants Foran, the Dogs will want Reynolds to replace him and I cannot see us getting in their way.
We then either ask for Taupau (which will be a no) or Walker.

I think Reynolds is a good player, but his injuries this year have made him a non event for us. If he stays and earns his money he will be good for the team. If however the Bulldogs want him, then it would be good to switch. The Dogs cannot keep Foran and Manly want Foran bad.

And our 5/8 would be???
