Who knows where he plays. Let them fight it out over the pre season and see. We need players that can create tries.Where would he play? Backup to Bula? He wants a starting position, fair enough. He won't join us to play nsw cup...

Escobar...Thank you Pablo Picasso. Just like your name sake.
On the money - extend that down into Flegg and we will have the depth required to build a next man up mentality. Without the depth that is nothing but a dream. That's why I think just as important for Fulton will be recruiting T&T and NSW Cup players on minimum wage for depth & experience.
As a club, we're in a position where we probably have to grant Top 30s to our top juniors like Da Silva, Galvin to keep them here.
I'd then load our Development deals to our next tier of identified pathways players to progress like the Laulilii brothers, Miller, Mason etc.
Train & Trials to players with experience for depth & leadership like a Dean Hawkins or Kurt Falls type who can't get top 30 deal but provide depth & also some potential x-factor types like your Jimmy Ngutliks.
Then some strategic NSW Cup contracts to players who can be leaders at that level and provide experience to our pathways players coming up (more of the Jack Boyling types).
Yet each time he plays against us, he has a field day.Euan Aitken is absolutely trash. He's too slow for the backs, too small and weak for the back row. He also has no ball skills and weak defensively
Well..u simply cant ignore the ingloriuos results.....Injuries and stuff are the same for every team.I don't think that the results in the junior grades this year are a good indicator of the quality of individuals. The injuries and instability in first grade has huge flow on effects down the grades. If they are in and out every week they can't build combinations which particularly shows up in defence, particularly in the KOE where defence is always secondary anyway. We also have multiple teams in some of the lower grades so the talent may be spread among the Balmain and Wests sides. There are a lot of kids in a lot of teams. If Sheens says there are stars among them I'm inclined to believe him. I do however agree that we need to be a lot better at figuring out which ones will make it and which won't. I feel John Morris coming in will help a lot with this, he had a lot to do with it at the Sharks by all accounts.
In the late 80s, Magpies were wearing a white guernsey to help them cope with the heat. The team approached the club to change back to black, saying white made them feel "soft".The data has variations in jerseys lowing win rates believe it or not. Newcastle 1-9 in their high vis
That win is against us ayeThe data has variations in jerseys lowing win rates believe it or not. Newcastle 1-9 in their high vis
As for Sheens judgement...think is is full of it tbh in the current era, although did get Bula right.
Definitley possible look at what the Knights and Warriors have done this season.I don't think we are that far off if our halves recruits come good and we get luck with injuries and players find form. A lot has to go right for us to improve but it's possible.
Unlike blood brothers. Not defending Sheens' efforts this season, but I suspect we would have seen plenty of blooding next year if he stayed.
You will have your answer in 10 months or less. Sleep easy.I just hope they clean out of this year's roster 3 types that are using up our numbers
- a few who just don't have a footy brain
- a few that week after week lack effort and just stand there like turnstiles in the defensive line
- a few others that have been plodding around in cup for so long that you just know they are not up to Nrl level
We need to clean house and rebuild with some more aggressive recruiting
I'm willing to give Benji a bit of time to construct this finals bound roster and think John Morris is a big plus going forward
The ones going to Manly aren't exactly players we're desperate to keep. Two little things to think about.
Is this Change of jerseys going to be more black & white & less orange.
Also Fulton seems to have recruted more players for Manly than players for us.
Furner gone per the DT.
