Looking at the presentation to Benji & Chris last night it looked like all the squad was there a lot of young and unfamiliar faces amongst them photos were taken and should appear on the WT'S website

I know we have a few development said guys coming into the 30...kei and Bradley not sure who else tho

Kei isn’t confirmed yet. Bradley, Cini, Madden and Simpkin are all listed to be in our top 30 next season

We’re also reported to be losing Garner so could open up another spot

Damn having both Cini and Bradley in our 30 doesn’t sound great

Absolute joke Cini and Bradley anywhere need the 30

when did cini become bad??? i thought the forum rated him ???
Bradley always been hit and miss with the people on here but if i remember correctly mcintyre was also hated by nearly everyone who saw him
the nrl is very diff sometimes people step up even if they were avg in reserve grade its all about the system

Seyfarth material

Seyfarth is a tigers junior and is literally just like Hetherington...all be it a few years back in development...he’s a very similar Player but also doesn’t cost us 450k that Hetherington would

What's the deal with RTS? Articles about him maybe switching to union. Thought he was on a massive long term warriors deal.
Surely being in the NZ camp, Madge would have a crack if he was unsigned?

AJ and Tommy played their best games. AJ is slowly getting up to the pace and knowing where he has to be when the ball comes his way.

They are improving every week but their errors are killing us. Hopefully they’ll be better for the experience next year because their attack is promising.

We simply can’t have them both in the side if they’re averaging 2 errors a game though.

You're expecting polished first graders but you're not going to get that with inexperienced players. I'd look at the bigger names on the sidelines who have failed to deliver as the reason for our falling away.

Harry would be able to get a lot more money at other clubs compared to WT if he doesn’t stay at Melbourne. Wouldn’t surprise me if he went to titans

Titans wouldn't have the cap - more likely Brisbane. Canterbury would have the money but i don't think he would go there.

They’ve still got money. They’ve signed some big names but they’ve also released quite a few guys who were on big money, Cartwright being the latest. Just like us they’ve got a heap of duds on huge money and they’re slowly getting rid of them

Cartwright was quoted by several different media organisations as being on $450K

They also released Shannon boyd as well along with a few others. They’ve got some cash left

They signed Tino from the storm and Ese Ese not bottom dollar players either, Brimson got an upgrade, re-signed Proctor, Sami, Jolliffe, Don and signed Thompson, plus Wallace is on big dollars as well

Losing Cartwright, Boyd, Arrow, James, Peats who are all on big money plus a couple other cheaper guys are on the way out. I don’t think they’ve got millions sitting around but they’ll have enough to offer Smith/Grant a decent contract for next season which will get bigger in 2022.

Can they take Mybe instead please.......

ADAM KEIGHRAN OFF CONTRACT AT WARRIORSAdam joined the Vodafone Warriors after appearing 26 times at Intrust Super Premiership level for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs (2017) and the Penrith Panthers (2018). A left-footed goal kicker, he scored 202 points in 23 games for Penrith's ISP side in 2018 (10 tries, 81 goals).

He finished the 2015 season by earning selection in an Australian Schoolboys side which beat New Zealand Residents Under-18s in two encounters. Among his team-mates were Nathan Cleary, Cameron Murray and Blayke Brailey.

He scored 206 points in 37 under-20 appearances for the Bulldogs in 2016 and 2017.

Adam impressed in the Vodafone Warriors' 2019 NRL trials against Melbourne and Wests Tigers to clinch his NRL debut in the season-opening clash against the Bulldogs.

Becoming Vodafone Warrior #231, he scored a try and kicked six goals in the club's 40-6 victory and was also used in the halves in the next two matches against Wests Tigers and Manly. He returned for his fourth appearance in July, coming off the bench in the contentious loss to Parramatta, and had a similar role in the superb 24-16 win over Manly as well as the season-ending 24-20 victory against Canberra.

In 15 Canterbury Cup games in 2019, Adam scored 86 points (five tries, 33 goals).Look good against Manly could be a cheap pick up.

Well goal kicker we do need and still young at 23.
Its a good suggestion if the $ line up.

No I’m saying they’re both rookies and while you can accept one making errors, you can’t have 2 or 3 of them unless you’re happy to plan for 2023. It’s more to do with not selecting them all in the same team than the individuals. We only have to see how the Broncos team of high potential rookies went.

The Mbye, Packer, Benji, Brooks underperformance has been talked about in other threads but they aren’t making 3 errors a game. To have any chance in the current competition you have to control possession.

Wow. Can't think of two more different players than Hetherington and Seyfarth. Seyfarth is a workhorse who's slow and weak. Needs a few years to develop his strength and power. Hetherington is an aggressive impact prop and a mile ahead.

I can see Madge wanting to keep Seyfarth around on a magpies contract, but no point him staying in top 30

On that basis how could you accept Joey Leilua in our team? He is good for a couple of crucial errors and a brain explosion? I would rather play Talau at right centre. I'm sure Kepaoa and Talau will be significantly improved next year.

BJ might be underperforming but he’s made less errors than AJ in 14 games vs AJ’s 5. Similarly Talau has made twice as many errors as BJ in less games. I’d rather have Talau at right centre as well but not if he can’t cut out the errors.

The data speaks for itself.

But Warriors are based in Australia now
So NZ needs a team of their own
Tigers can now be relocated to NZ and RTS can join the Tigers
We will even throw in the NZ coach

The comparison should be done when Kepaoa and Talau have played the same no of games and also enjoy a sizeable contract. Until then, comparisons are meaningless.

The Mbye, Packer, Benji, Brooks underperformance has been talked about in other threads but they aren’t making 3 errors a game. To have any chance in the current competition you have to control possession.

The comparison should be done when Kepaoa and Talau have played the same no of games and also enjoy a sizeable contract. Until then, comparisons are meaningless.

This is the NRL, younger players don’t get special treatment because they’re on smaller contracts. They are playing for the same positions so the comparison is valid.
