They pride themselves on defence so that would interesting to watch....

Yet they have Flanno. Benji is no worse in defence and he actually attacks which would take some pressure off Keary. Surely deep down Flanno is not their man. They need someone to tie them over for Walker. Then again it is the Roosters and anything can happen.

I've been on Tristan watch ...it's all under control ...he's off to the Atherton Roosters ...or the Sarina Sea Eagles ...or will be playing outside Craig Field for the Long Bay Soapdroppers

So i just read that Dogs have got Jack Hetherington, Raider got C Aekins from Panthers...

So my concern is that other clubs are clearly working on recruitment regardless if in finals or not and our CEO and Coach are on holidays..
Now don't get me wrong as they are fully entitled to have holidays like everyone else and won't judge until end of off season but I sure hope they have players lined up and are just holding off on announcements. If not, to me that is just not acceptable because this is a critical period for recruitment and cannot be just sitting back and waiting for leftovers. I know in my workplace there are certain times we are not allow to have annual leave due to workloads etc.. They expect us fans to keep renewing memberships, buying Team Merchandise, Tickets to games etc to keep this team afloat but cannot take recruitment or at least show fans they are serious about it.
We also haven't even announce any resigning of current players that we intend to keep so fingers crossed we are in for a good 4-6 weeks ahead. Rant over

I'm pretty sure signing a player takes at least a few weeks, sometimes months.

no word of Hartigan being on holidays mate. Hetherington and the dogs have been in talks for months, yes it looks as if we've missed out on him but he's been under Baz a couple of times at Penrith and that might've been what sent him to Belmore. we'll be fine, just need to sort McIntyre out.

We feel your pain. Problem is we want Harry Grant and/or JAC and can’t move on anyone else until the Storm make some decisions. They have us between a rock and a hard place.

We will end up with nothing but inexperienced players , we need hard nosed forwards who run hard and hit harder , not young kids .

Pretty clearly just the media and this forum.
2022 is when we'll have some good signings.

Re 1/2 backs.I remember Smith,Bolton,Radonikas etc. ALL RUNNIN HALVES.Centers and wingers were king.Advent of 6 tackle rule made the 7 a tactical kicker for repeat sets etc.All halves blamed for their side performances.Reyolds @ sths ,Brooks,Townsend,Moses etc hardly run at all.Smith at Storm does the kicking playing at 9 (the modern day 5/8) freeing up the halves.Cleary has Lui and both have time to run as they share kicking.Sides must free up the 1/2 s with alternative kickers for them to perform.
