Could Luci move there ? They could persist with Twal . I actually like filling the last 3 spots with Margoullis , Laurie and Sironen .

Luciano would be wasted in the middle IMO, and Twal is a rotation prop. I think we need to go to market for one.

Dunno mate .....when you take into consideration you need 3 starting (with your Lock ) and at least 2 on the bench that only leaves 2 spare .....I'd like 2 more unless you plan on Lucy at 13

Realistically with the money set aside for Grant and JAC could we go after Crighton from Easts. I thought he was one of the best for NSW and he is a quality Second Rower which we need.

Caveat: I can see Cordner force to retire freeing up his money to keep Crighton.
Lindsey Collins looks a good player but Easts don't lose players they want to keep.

What's people's thoughts on Billy Magoulias and/or Scott Sorensen. Both off contract at Sharks?

No to the last two from me.

Yea , that’s my take as well. I was just chucking ideas out. I think Margoullis could be . Was higher rated than all the current 13 running around like Murray etc coming through . That’s not by accident . We’ve all seen what Madge can do to a forwards career . Manly just offered Josh Aloiai 700k . Think about that for a minute . Many had him in super league after this contract .

Tigers on the theme of recycled players should get Blake Ferguson. Just to see Madge lose his mind within 6 weeks. Bigger and faster than our outside backs and could come cheap Parra want to get rid of him for Mansour.

Prefer him to Mansour.
But would not come cheap.

He’s on 500k 31 next year. I’d assume Eels will chip in and the average deal would be 350k. Injuries have slowed him but with our lack of athletic talent he could be good for us.

Why do they want to get rid of him exactly? Mansour is a downgrade even if Fergo seemed off the pace for much of last year.

I agree. Ferguson form suffered because of the Penrith cast off inside him never passed the ball. I would have Fergo of the two any day.

Happy with Roberts and Laurie would be nice to sign someone who will walk into our starting team for next season and improve our team a decent amount. Sironen would be good for sure

Agree with you there I think it's worth an inquiry atleast . They could be looking at a win now situation with foran and our 2 backrowers

When BJ is on song he has some good ball playing qualities and extremely hard to stop when he rampages , Benji was partof his undoing last year as well as some stupidity , he is better than a cc player

That is the issue, when he is on song. Too often he isn't and Ricky was over him. Talau represents our future next year and I hope he has a big off season ready to take that position.

BJ will be there in 2021 Paws as much as you don't want him to be.

Losing Benji will be like unchaining the BJ we know and love.

There is always an excuse with him. Next year it will be something else. He ran out of excuses with Ricky and at 28 won't change. The team for its long term future needs Talau at right centre.

I don't see Talau as a long term centre, not enough speed.

I thought he was carrying a hamstring injury for most of the year. A good off season with sprint training and he'll be fine.

Doesn't have the leg speed and if he can't maintain his speed as a 20 year old then it's unlikely to improve much.

There's only been about 200 posts saying this same thing.

We were after Schuster last year but he re-signed with Manly in the end.
