Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

TAYLOR ON THE MOVE

Former Warriors, Panthers and Tigers forward Elijah Taylor has linked up with Manly’s feeder club Blacktown Workers.

Foxsports.com.au understands the 30-year-old trained with the Canterbury Cup team this week.

Taylor, who has represented New Zealand 11 times, was one of eight players the Wests Tigers chose not to re-sign beyond 2020.

Good clubman

Hmm. Don't shoot me down, might be wrong, but wouldnt Taylor still he be our best lock in our team? Whos our lock, Twal? Gotta have excellent ball playing skills these days, Twal doesnt really strike me that way. Maybe we are targeting one.

The game went past ET unfortunately. He’s not a strong runner of the footy and we need more metres up the middle. He’s a good defender but you need more than just that now, especially when the rest of our pack isn’t crash hot. The 6 again rules have done him no favours either with his wrestling in the ruck.

Where are we missing signings ?We withdrew from one after putting in a solid offer,SO WHAT! this happens all the time in the game.As for other players,us and every side in the comp put in offers on various players ,we were succesful on three occasions ,and we are still in the market for more. Come on people get a life and stop whining.

Good that he is playing, but he is a bit like Cordner, prone to HIA every other game.

Except Cordner has premierships and plays for his state and country. ET could only dream of that these days...

You'd hope someone takes this decision out of Cordner's hands and ET isn't far behind Cordner HIA wise

Clubs need to put the players welfare first
Cordner cannot risk another HIA.I cringe every time I see him got to make a tackle .
If he is playing next year it will look terrible on behalf of the NRL

If only he knew how to pass because i think he couldve been an alright hooker. Unfortunately his passes went over the receivers head most of the time which ruined any momentum. Defensively he was pretty good.

When the club makes a marquee signing one supporters can get truely excited about and make the eight then some of us might stop whinging

RE;BAGnf 05.---Mate Earl has a post of availiable players on the market, please peruse and make a suggetion.

I’m not saying there’s heaps out there, but we’ve sure given up some and missed out on plenty.

Next 2 years hopefully that all changes.

If we could bring in a Hudson Young and a Gareth Widdop (one yr deal) I’d be optimistic.
