Off a penrith forum

Just a quick pop in. Feeling better but still a bit if recovery to go.

Mansour will be gone soon. Could be as early as this week.
Tigers are favourites but there is another club in the mix. The other club is chasing another back elsewhere. Depends if they get him.
If he goes to the Tigers the Cini swap with Laurie will be back on the table. Provided both sides are happy with terms. $$

Penrith site mentioned Nofo to Eeels as well as Dogs chasing Momo,all rumours of course but these positions don't worry me as Nofa has contract for 21 and Momo is fighting with 4 others for a place,.We have plenty of options for 2022 .

The Kennel insiders have confirmed Momo is a target for them for 21. I feel like dominos are about to fall.

Momo makes sense for them. They have spent big on marquee players and they need some moneyball signings who will do the job. I suppose losing Momo and gaining Mansour is potentially better for us but I'm trying to see an upside for us gaining Mansour.

It all depends on the contract though doesn't it. Mansour on a low cost contract is fine assuming Madge picks the best available player. Madge tends to pick the best player.

Mbye will do the job he is asked to do by Madge,he is versatile,Grub is off on a new path overseas,good luck to him...Packer has been dealt some serious injury to recover from while with us and to his defense,as many bellittle the guy at first opportunity,he came to us when he was playing very good football,he and Mats were working fine,when Ivan ditched us Russ went downhill and got a severe foot injury that took months to recover from,he also wanted to play while being coached by Ivan,thats not his fault and I really want to congratulate him on his academic studies and mentoring our young players on the training paddock....everyone has their own opinion and I stand by mine,its easy to belittle people when you really havent walked a mile in their shoes,its also easy to at least see some good in people that mean
well..

Mansor isnt my choice either,but what ever Madge has in mind he has my support....

I really hope that players don't read this forum. It is so easy to unfairly belittle players on this forum.

Tigers i presume look at contact lengths,so we do not have players coming off contract at the same time.Also wingers tend to slow down as they get older and i would only give someone like Mansour a 1 yr contract at his age.Even JAC was a risk at Dogs ,he wiil be 30 in his last year.Momo has a PO contract for next year but his position is not certain in the top side especially with the Tigers desperate for speed and a lot of talent coming through,and money to spend on stike players.Much will happen this year.

This is just my opinion but for some reason Mbye reminds of the sales manager who lets everyone else do the foot work and at the last minute steps in and takes the sale for themselves. It’s all mirrors with him. A slick sales artist with no substance. The sooner he is gone the better off the club will be. His abilities are a skilled illusion

Not only at low cost, but short term,otherwise another average back we can't get rid of.

I really hope that players don't read this forum. It is so easy to unfairly belittle players on this forum.

I’m pretty sure it was Nofa in a podcast that said sometimes he feels like the fans could support the players more instead of bashing them. So maybe they do, or atleast Instagram socials

It’s the people who personally message the players and let them know about their bad game that disgust me

That would be best case but reading between the lines of the Pamfers Pom, the Cini/Laurie swap is a carrot for the Mansour signing.
