I watched a highlights video of him on Youtube the other day.

He looked good but the defence was absolutely atrocious - I mean, non-existant. He's not going to enjoy the same space/opportunities in first grade.

Yeah, GNR . . . I guess this is just the end result of his comment calling Folau "filth or trash" or whatever he said. Nobody sees the initial aggression as wrong, they only see the sarcastic reply as the wrong thing to say.
Folks seem to get real wound up about a guy that quoted the bible and mentioned 6 or 7 different types of " sinners". Nobody said a thing about Folau implicating the adulterers and fornicators, but the mere mention of the word "homosexuals" and you all go beserk.
The real filth are the guys that beat their women, stomp on people's heads and threaten to end their life, and such. But very little is said about them. Unless it's a gay bloke's head they are stomping.

PS: and as far as whoever it was that originally called I.F filth having the guts to say it to his face . . . well, we will never know because on the internet we are all hero's.

Adulterer’s and fornicator’s aren’t pillars of society are they. They choose to do the wrong thing. A homosexual does not choose who they are attracted to. They aren’t doing anything wrong. That seems to be lost when you ask why are they the only group being defended.

If we aren’t we are on serious drugs . There’s a huge void in at least 2 positions in our backline . I think potentially Hoffman and Kei will get there , but that wing spot is a headache .

Does anyone know if Oates actually has recovered properly from that bad leg injury he suffered against us last year? At the time they were concerned it could have been career ending.

At the time it happened they thought it was a compound fracture of the femur, it turned out it was just a large haematoma and a deep gash in his leg.

So it was nowhere near as bad as first thought.

Yeah mate, I think you are correct. I remember thinking it was one of the worst injuries I had seen when it happened and then in the end it was a bad bruise.

I knew it wasn't as bad as they thought initially, but also he's dropped right off the radar, I realised I wasn't sure what his situation was injury-wise.

Oates has played over 150 first grade games and for QLD many times ... I think people would notice the difference.

Reynolds is a top quality halfback with an excellent kicking game (long, short and goal). He'd be a huge upgrade on Brooks. A potential 2022 spine of Laurie, Doueihi, Reynolds and Simpkin is exciting.

Adam Reynolds is a controlling half and needs to be matched with a creative 5/8 like Walker, Laui or Johnson. Not a running 5/8 like Doueihi. Someone has to be creative.

If we bought Reynolds I would put Daine Laurie to 5/6, Doueihi to centre and look for another fullback.

Adam Reynolds played 18 games in 2015, 16 in 2016 and 21 in 2017. At least some of those were due to a back injury. He has gone off mid game a few times after a collision has jarred his back in the last few years too.

He definitely has X factor especially with eyes up footy I am not sure if that suits Madges style,he is solid in defence & good under the high ball,his biggest weakness is communication in defence, but from what I have seen I don’t think he is Robinson Crusoe
