We are no hope of getting anyone decent until they fill their quota

Contracted for 2 more seasons to Tigers.

His contract runs out after next year, if we are smart we are trying to add another year or two to his deal right now.

Reynolds is a top quality halfback with an excellent kicking game (long, short and goal). He'd be a huge upgrade on Brooks. A potential 2022 spine of Laurie, Doueihi, Reynolds and Simpkin is exciting.

Adam Reynolds is a controlling half and needs to be matched with a creative 5/8 like Walker, Laui or Johnson. Not a running 5/8 like Doueihi. Someone has to be creative.

If we bought Reynolds I would put Daine Laurie to 5/6, Doueihi to centre and look for another fullback.

4 players make a spine, if you change one player for a different style you are going to have to make other changes. I would not change the spine we have without a much better reason than getting beaten by some top 4 sides.

You can't convince some people, they either love Brooks or hate Reynolds, me I don't hate either, I just want my team to stop bumbling around the bottom 8 every year, finals footy would be good

You are absolutely spot on.
Reynolds is a game manager (a very good one) and is surrounded by creative players at the moment (Latrell, walker and cook).

If we were to sign him, Brooks could be a creative 5/8 without the pressure to organize. Or as you said, daine Laurie to 5/8.

Hell, I'd be on board for Reynolds and Shaun Johnson in the halves, Laurie at fullback and Douhi to centre.

Good mix of creativity and organisation.

I think it's a potentially good signing but I'm not sold on it. He is a great little player but I'm not sure if he is who we need.

I think it's a potentially good signing but I'm not sold on it. He is a great little player but I'm not sure if he is who we need.

I think we have the players personally . Laurie and AD and Simpkin and brooks , is a very good spine . I’m more inclined to look at Staggs , Jordan Riki , Xavier Coates etc . Edge strike players .

What ? No there’s got to be a plan . If brooks isn’t the man , then we have to have a plan for next year (Reynolds) as well as 2024 . And potentially 2028 . That’s what the panthers and roosters and storm do .
