Seriously no. AD is just fine and progressing well at 5/8. He does has things he needs to work on but overall very good. SJ would be short term, AD is for the long haul so AD it is.

Either means he'll play 7 over Brooks or will play the role Mbye is currently playing. Be interesting to see the plan. Hopefully the money is reasonable.

I think he/or Brooks could play that roving lock role that Mbye has been doing lately.

Brooks might be suited to it you know, never thought about it but he's fast has good passing and is a solid defender. Could be a decent 14 like how Souths use Benji.

There was off field issues years ago that people can't get over. He's a solid player and for the right coin will be a decent addition to our 30

Considering we struggle to sign marquee players we have to try these kind of signings to strengthen our team it's the only way.

I don't understand the push back saying this is a new low.

It's obvious we can't attract marquee talent. JAC, Latrell etc all refused to come here. Hastings had issues years ago yes, but just like any other NRL player with issues in their past, he's likely changed and grown up.

We have to improve our squad. We can't attract marquee talent, and we can't keep signing mediocre has beens. A young half who has been shredding up Super League is a risk we have to take.

I don't think one bloke who's been playing wel will be the end of our club and it's future. If you don't like the signing fair enough but it's not the end of the world.... better than a lot of signings we've made in the past decade

Brooks is better than Hastings as a 7 and Mmbye is doing a good job.
We would be better making a play for B Smith as hooker for 20 then bring on Simpkin and B Smith goes to 13
