I hate gagai so much

I saw him at Woolworths in my area recently...
He's pretty tall and athletic looking.
More so than he appears on TV.

But yeah, he'd he a dud signing for us.
I think Broncos should take him.

There is a hazy rumour floating around that Ricky Stuart has inquired about Luke Brooks availability to replace George Williams in Canberra.

Not sure on reliability, source has 50% hit rate. But one worth watching if it develops. By that I mean, watching Brooks out the door.

There was an enquiry by Wigan to see if they could get George Williams immediately and suggested a three way swap with Hastings moving to the Tigers, Brooks to Canberra and Williams to Wigan. I believe it was nothing more than an enquiry/suggestion which was shot down.

I wonder how much freight we'd expect to carry for Brooks still has a few years and on big $ which i cant see the raiders taking on. I think Brooks does need to go for his sake and our sake but to carry the can for this to happen would be silly especially when we've a;ready signed Hastings for next year.

Hastings is a downgrade from Brooks

The only people who even think brooks is crap , is the fans on social media , and Mick Ennis ( who has a bee in his bonnet because his close mate in Reynolds was wearing the magpies jersey last year ) **There’s been no mention out of the club that they’re even remotely unhappy with him.** I’m curious if he does play second receiver , how many try assists he will get . Or if he will prove everyone right on here .

You don't think bringing Madden into the side is a sign?

Sign, sign everywhere a sign -

6 Brooks
7 Madden
13 Doueihi

I reckon this could work. We'd have a lock who can make a bust and he'd be the most skillful lock in the comp. The question is could he handle it defensively.

Then Brooks would have to get his running and passing game back. Then Madden would have to prove he is a first grader.

Lot of if's but maybe it'd work.

Doueihi can’t be lazy if that was to happen.
His work rate off the ball is terrible.
Locks these days need to be very fit, full of energy both in attack and when defending.

Doueihi isn't lazy. He is going great for us. I do agree that it'd be tough on him but maybe he could do it.

He is, even admitted last week or the week before saying Robbie is kicking up the backside due to being lazy. He has alot of upside but without the ball he is very ordinary.

He's hard on himself tho.
If he's lazy, what would you call our other players?

Douohei, Laurie and our 9s are the most active.

It's just how Lebanese people are mate.
Hard workers who always thrive to do better.
It's on our blood.

Explain Eddie Obeid.

Lol

No to Gagai, sorry havent we learnt anything with the purchases of players at the back end of their careers, now we are even having doubts about Tamou, stick with top class youth and bear the pain but develop them in style at our new c of E

Once again we are linked to a current state of origin player and every 1 complains haha
Would be a great signing for the club wouldn’t be on huge coin and is a good safe outside back

That’s the only time that he performs to his ability when he’s in a Maroon jersey.

I think Read’s article is a piss take. Nobody talks to him and to say this is gutter journalism would be a compliment I’m not prepared to give.

Gagai can play really well and he's also used to being in a crap team from his Knights days where he was excellent but at 30 he's slowing down and not sure he's the player he used to be.

I wonder if they intend to use him at wing or centre if they signed him - if it's centre that means jimmy and Joey might not be around next year, or they're just used as depth.

Gotta be at centre, actually think he’s been really solid for south’s this year apart from last week

He's been great this season at Centre. He was poor last week but he played right wing after playing left centre all season prior. I think he was just a bit lost positionally and communication wasn't there with his centre

Extremely energetic in corruption. Always was trying to line his pockets for the betterment of himself.

Unlike others I think Gagai would be a great addition at centre. However, if we’ve signed Gildart, not sure why we’d want another left centre.

Much rather see is get an experienced winger. Our left wing always seems to be occupied by centres.

Gagai could probably play on the right hand side, Gildart seems very left sided though with his step and fend/pass. Definitely wouldn't be against it for the right price

Andrew Fifita is past his prime, injury prone, over weight, over paid and has too big an ego for feats he did too long ago. Morris was right to want to get rid of him. He's a peanut.

So is threatening junior league referees, Andrew.

Gagai would be our best backline player by far. Doesn’t fit with our timeline at 30 but if it’s a 2 year deal he plugs a huge hole. I watch most Souths games he’s played at a high level for 18 months. Not just QLD but also Souths.

If it’s 3-4 years on big money walk away fast.
