Since we've missed TPJ and likely Finucane, any ideas on who we are targeting? And the progress of talks for HSS or Sua?

I swear I get more and more pessimistic about our recruiting ability as time goes on. It's honestly ridiculous, though not surprising, how many players were are in the hunt for but miss out on.

Sua has been spoken about internally, but it hasn't progressed further than that at tis stage.

I just had to delete some of my own posts as I thought, with so many post on the subject, this was the Covid thread. Any further post regarding covid 19 will be deleted, we have a covid 19 thread if you wish to continue discussing the topic.

But do we want to be winners or the nice club

It's not about being "nice". It's about recruiting players of good character who will sacrifice for the greater good.
Melbourne are the template.
They recruit players who are willing to do a job for the team. The no dickhead policy creates unity and a sense of team. It creates a winning club.

Mickey Mouse covid laws please. He’s not a criminal. I’d sign him ASAP. Not everyone believes the media and government Covid propaganda people should respect that. Don’t we have any freedoms anymore?

I think Vaughan is technically in trouble because he is in breach of NRL policy. Not just "bringing the game into disrepute" but because the clubs are on Level 4 restrictions and if they balls it up, the Government can shut the whole competition down.

The police only fined him a thousand bucks or something. But the NRL has to come down on them hard so that everyone else stays in line, particularly after those Bulldogs idiots went to the pub that first weekend.

Also I don't agree with your propaganda nonsense comments. Keep that gear out of this thread please.

I hope it doesn’t go further. People here are so desperate for some sort of signing news they will cling onto any potential player.

I don’t pay as much attention to nsw cup/Flegg as I probably should but I’m sure people that do can back me in saying we’re better off backing our own young second rowers coming through. I see people mention Tuilagi every week and people are already seeming to forget about blores potential just because of more injuries and a coach who has no idea how to use him.

Su’a is not the answer. He’s not a budget TPJ by any means, like not even close. We shouldn’t be chasing him because he’s the only one available

My guess with Vaughan, I think he's been on the nose with St George for a while and they were OK to have a reason to cut his last year.

You don't think if Moses Mbye did something illegal the Tigers wouldn't sack him early? It would be convenient. If so, Vaughan is dumb enough to give them an excuse.

And no matter what anyone says, having a house party is currently illegal. Not a serious offence but the Special Health Orders are lawfully enforceable, you can look them up online each time they introduce a lockdown or some kind of restriction.

These selfish types may have made a significant difference in the decision to extend lockdown. Individuals who cannot obey orders or the law should be punished.

Some of our arm grabbing defensive efforts looks like out players are dancing to YMCA

Yes. It does. Nofo being crucified by the inside defenders (allegedly).

Vaughan made a huge mistake, but the other players could of easily just said they weren't going to go to the BBQ. Vaughan didnt make em go the BBQ they chose to go

He's made 3 mistakes allegedly. Thats the reason he was terminated. Add to that, after he was caught this time, he organised a zoom meeting amongst the players so they could all get their stories straight before fronting the integrity unit. Concocting untruths as a version of events never ends well in any field.

The fact he organised a group lie to the integrity commission should mean no club would touch him,If he lies to the governing body are people that gullible to think he will honest at the next club he goes to.He should have been banned for 3 years.

Vaughn is a gun.

Last game V Warriors

21 runs for 264 meters..imagine if we had that sort of go forward?

Will be interesting to see if anyone picks him up though. He’d have to serve the 8 weeks wherever he goes wouldn’t he?

Does Vaughan get keep the $800K and then Dragons have an additional $800k in their cap? If he gets to keep his contract money then I don't see this as a satisfactory penalty.

No, he was fired. You don't get paid if you are fired.
