Would be nice if our chairman would use his weight for good for a change and started to threaten these “journos” with legal action, cause quite clearly this rubbish that they are making up is getting close to slander… Atleast make them accountable for their lies to grab attention…. Apparently WE called Raiders and offered Mbye and Brooks for Wighton and Josh Hodgson .. Yeh that's it...
What a load of rubbish as why would we want Hodgson when we have Liddle and Simpkin locked on for 2-3 years.. I understand maybe asking about Brooks but there is no way we would ask for them 2 in return..

And to top it off Benji comes on and has a dig at us sacking him and how good it turned out for him.. I could play for Souths with there 10 Rep players and look good.. Not once does he mention we had 6 halves under contract for 2021 and he was the only one off contract and made it hard to keep him.

No wonder we have trouble recruiting with clowns making up rubbish. Rant over :angry:

Lee wouldnt have called its not his job and also cause he said the last week on radio that he would be staying out of player negotiations and not be revealing any names if asked who the tigers would be signing next or whenever.

that he said that shows what a moron he is. At what point did he think he added value to any negotiations. pretty sure Pooper said he called....

Lol the rugby league and contracts is a funny animal. We have to face reality. We have no idea what happens during negotiations. But what we do is that there are 3 types of payments. The agreed salary 1. And then there is the TPA 2. Both of which are registered with the NRL and then there is the 3rd component. The brown paper bag. Well this component dare I say is hidden and not disclosed and is most cases the difference between getting a signature or not!

The other thing i want to know is with alot of the false stuff being thrown around , why someone from our club doesnt come out a say something. Put these clowns in their place once and for all.

Sorry mate , but ive had another look at that and there is no mention of Lee calling.
As for Lee adding value to signing players , i think he would if he played the same game as Mr Politis does at the roosters with the brown paper bags and also getting his high roller mates and their TPA's to get signature over the line for our club.

Not signing a player because he wants too much is not a loss but a win.Paying overs is a certain way of having continued failure(spoon contention).
