Reality is we simply have to pay more than every other club in order to get star players here. But getting rejected again and again doesn't make the pill any easier to swallow.

He looks the business right now ? He is suspended again will be week 20 of suspension in 3 yrs. So if you take the average the 3 yr deal is effectively a 2 yr deal for 2.2m. Does he look a $1.1m a season player given he is playing backrow for the 2nd worst team in the comp and previous yr worst team in the comp and has never played origin.

No doubt he has some skill on a footy field but he has never shown value for money.

Also has a great reputation of partying with bikies - quality human

I think the bulldogs theory is that TPJ can fill in for Hetherington while he is suspended and then vice versa when Pangai gets suspended. Common sense really 2 blokes to fill one spot.

Apparently yesterday afternoon Chammas rang Jimmy Smith and told him he is definitely getting mail from inside the club. Jimmy Smith then said on air this morning the discussion was amicable between he and Chammas after he had a go at him yesterday.
It does sound like someone in the club is tipping off some of the journo's

Best way to weed out the mole within the club is for the CEO to drip feed over time a series of completely false pieces of information to various members of the organization and wait for it to find it's way into Chammas' hands. Once it does you have your mole.

So has the club admitted an approach did take place? It seems pointless to start pointing the finger at journalists if such an approach did occur. The issue seems to be the leak to the press. If a trade for Brooks was discussed, the alleged WTs' official involved was he or she acting off his/her own 'initiative' or under instructions from another authority within the club? That is, was it sanctioned by the Board? If not, there is an issue.

I think that sports journos should face deformation charges for certain things. Imagine if a journo made up stuff about an organisation like the Commonwealth Bank or some other big organisation. There'd be charges laid asap. These journos should not be making stuff up that damages the reputation of any club or player. If they do and its false, they face charges or spit out their source who gave them the info. I understand that journos can give an opinion, but if its the continual bashing or bullying of a club/player, then they get the flick. Atm it feels like journos are bashing us to sell stories to fill their back pockets and its not right.

Apparently WE called Raiders and offered Mbye and Brooks for Wighton and Josh Hodgson .. Yeh that's it...
What a load of rubbish as why would we want Hodgson when we have Liddle and Simpkin locked on for 2-3 years.. I understand maybe asking about Brooks but there is no way we would ask for them 2 in return..

And to top it off Benji comes on and has a dig at us sacking him and how good it turned out for him.. I could play for Souths with there 10 Rep players and look good.. Not once does he mention we had 6 halves under contract for 2021 and he was the only one off contract and made it hard to keep him.

Im interested to know that if there really was a phone call from an official of our club to the raiders. Asking for a Brooks and Mbye swap for the two raiders players Hodgson and Wighton is fair play to have a laugh cause in all honesty it would never happen.
But , if it didnt happen (Hoops did say he wasnt too sure of the exact details) then theyve all got it in for our club and its plain and obvious. From one media outlet to another its the same thing day in day out. One clown feeding off another , adjusting their stories and making stuff up.
Its getting boring , frustrating and its killing our club.
The other thing i want to know is with alot of the false stuff being thrown around , why someone from our club doesnt come out a say something. Put these clowns in their place once and for all.

It's just becoming embarrassing and obvious they have an agenda. Why not talk about the Panthers looking at TPJ or Moses back injury or Papa back for Storm...

The only way we can shut them up is winning and making finals. That's a pipe dream as we cannot recruit and need to wait for our junior players to develop..

1. Did Hooper bother calling Pascoe to get a comment?
2. Assuming it’s true, who leaked it? If it was the Raiders that’s pretty lousy. If they found out as part of filming their doco that’s even worse.

Pooper apparently talked to the Wests Tigers yesterday quashing the Brooks rumour..

Yet 24 hrs later after being out pooped by Buzzard.. ran with some dribble..

I know people don't like Lee coming out talking about recruitment etc.. But this is a excellent time to stick up for the club and put Hooper in his place.. 100% agree. Tigers seem to be the punching bag for most sports journos for some reason. None of them mentioning the Dogs who are 2 wins or the Broncos who already have a spoon and possibly another on the way or the Cows who have a negative 200 f/a. Correct but I would like us as a club to call them out and stick up for our brand. I think if they know you will call them out on false info they will back off as its not a good look for them in there business.. Also put a smile on some fans faces.
