The club very rarely releases statements like that.

If the club is being accused of an action, and being made out as a joke on a platform like NRL 360

And it’s false, a club statement coming out denying them accusations would be an appropriate thing to do imo

I’ve seen the club come out with club statements denying particular reports, this situation fits the category

Just hate the idea of this club being laughed at by everyone by it, and most people are just saying nahhh pooper isn’t credible and aren’t looking at it

I've been involved in conversations with Justin about these sorts of articles, honestly he just doesn't care what the media is saying and is completely dismissive when it is raised.

There was an article published by the abc stating from 'Tigers officials' ..it never happened..

Clearly you can't given Madge had dropped him several times and is playing him from the bench. Madge picked a rookie head of him at fullback.

Mbye played one game in full back last year.

There is plenty to criticise Madge about but how anybody blames him for the Mbye situation is beyond me.

Lol the rugby league and contracts is a funny animal. We have to face reality. We have no idea what happens during negotiations. But what we do is that there are 3 types of payments. The agreed salary 1. And then there is the TPA 2. Both of which are registered with the NRL and then there is the 3rd component. The brown paper bag. Well this component dare I say is hidden and not disclosed and is most cases the difference between getting a signature or not!

For sure. Russell Crowe's Nanna must bake great scones because any time a player visits her joint to discuss a contract they emerge with it being a done deal......for a supposedly greatly reduced wage. She must make spacecakes.

Connor Watson is on a healthy contract at the Knights. He's not worth the money. I have no doubt we can find a 14 from the lower grades. It's a perfect development opportunity to play a young player from the interchange while learning in the NRL.
