I know I got shot down the other day. But I really like Mark Nicholls as an experienced signing for us.
He would cost half of an Arron Woods and a third of a Finucane.
@cochise not asking specifically if there is any talk regarding him, but are we trying to add players like him into our squad next year?
He fits the 100-150 game target and won’t damage our cap at all.

That grub should never put foot back into our colours after his half hour interview with pooper on Fox when he decided to leave our club. He bagged the s### out of us and he was our captain. After all this club gave him and he had the hide to bag us. Give me a junior any day over him.

Doubt Woods would be on Madge or Hartigan's radar or that he'd even be interested in coming back. His mate Klemmer might be a possibility if he's on the outer at Newcastle as some have said. That said, neither is likely to improve much on what we already have.

While we don't appear to be able to attract players, the lack of comms on re-signing players such as Mikaele, Seyfarth and our young Flegg players is concerning. Also upgrades for Laurie and Stefano. A comms release would be nice. We do have a comms dept?

Yeah I thought he was solid. I’d be worried if he was our best option though. Having said that I am well and truly hoping to have egg on my face in 2 hours time

I was a no for woods as i thought he was like 33 but he is only 30 and would be a cheap option off the bench for us.. We can not attract anyone else.

Meh, woodsy wouldn't add much and I'm a massive fan of his. For dirt cheap he would be okay I guess but if we keep Mikaele and Seyfarth would we need him? Maybe as depth I guess but we've got a lot of young forwards.

He’s eons better than captain arm grabber

I don't see him starting for us next year either. Stefano, Mikaele, Twal, Seyfarth and Ofahengaue should really be our middles for next season. Tamou, Musgrove, Tuki and even Tuilagi can all be backup middles.

Maybe we could use one more middle forwards at the club but not sure it should be Woodsy

I think our middles are going pretty good. We need NRL centres first. Maybe Gildart will take one spot. We need another one.

Then we need an edge backrower.
