There is an article in DT about Sheens has emailed all player managers asking for a list of there best off contract players.. Sounds promising and good to see he is not sitting back and waiting to he arrives. He cannot do any worse then we have been doing.

He was good at fullback for the Warriors but had a few injuries but loads of talent I was surprised when the Tigers nab him

not yet hopefully sounds like he wants out yet ,untill,get him out or more cash,not u willow,but,some so called supporters r hiding under their caps ,yet again,another year down the toilet.o well

We get these youngsters and leave them in the lower grades and forget about them
and wonder why they get snapped up by other teams under our nose.
Yet other teams have similar talent and they put them in to play NRL.

I dont get why we cant put these guys in , give them 4-5 games of NRL or
even do what the penrith/broncos have done and get all youngsters across the park.
Put them in the deep end , he who swims survives.
We played some of them against the warriors and it was our season pros who let
us down. Go figure.

Ogden . He loves the club wants to stay but hasnt been signed up as yet.
Please dont let this kid get away.

I would've hoped, if he asked the recruitment team, they would of had this info?

Everyone keeps saying how Hartigan and Madge are great at identifying talent yet our best juniors remain unsigned. It beggars belief.

Funny how Souths are interested in Tess Niu , he wouldn’t make the grade here according to our arm chair generals on here ?

Not in my view he starts at either centre position and covers fullback. Smart target he has plenty of upside.

South’s are also interested in Milford, he is not a centre he has been tried there plenty of times in the lower grades & it was embarrassing, Hoffman (when his body is right) & Ogden are both better prospects.Laurie in his first year of fullback has already shown more. He has plenty of flashes of attacking brilliance so he won’t be cheap & he won’t go anywhere unless he is virtually guaranteed a starting spot, if South’s are interested the player I would love to see the Tigers chase would be Braiden Burns. I would be surprised if there is much interest in him especially after what he did to the Gold Coast last year & why have the Broncos not already offered him anything especially when they have so much uncertainty at fullback?

Over time bridges burned and stale communication lines can become a road block to progress.

It may just flush out some interest from new players, not yet considered on from both sides of the negotiating table.

That assumes the email is real. Also probably assumes it was never meant to reach the media. Or was it? Too many combinations and permutations to speculate. I would like to think it was sent in good faith.

It would also open up dialogue and reinforce our willingness to bring new players into our system.
However, I would have thoght that this type of communication is already going on.
Maybe it was Sheens putting it out there: I'm back, Wests Tigers are back and different this time.

Standard practice. Player managers usually send the information including players under contract that want out and players told by clubs they are deee to leave. It’s how 99% of media articles are written. Every club gets the information sounds like this email was telling player managers Sheens is running the show.
