Surely nicholls has signed elsewhere hence why souths haven't re-signed and waiting for season over to announce

Adam Kieran is good

Some talk in the papers today that Nicholls will be staying at Souths another year

he deserves some security after all the chances he's taken. if Souths don't offer him a 3 year deal then we should.

They won't offer more than one year. It's their policy for players 30 and over apparently

Souffs would be crazy to let him go.He is a good honest toiler and would be on a small to moderate contract.They would not be able to get his equal at the same wage

Where is all this Junior Paulo stuff coming from ? Is this another wish list for someone or some actual inside info. For me JP and Stefo would be outstanding but been there too many times to get excited.

I said that we should sign Paulo and I’m assuming a rumour grew from there. Great work team! I also want Frank Pele from Cronulla. These two will moonlight as the new remake of the former WWF tag team - the Powers of Pain. T shirts are being made as we speak. Mmmm

Paulo at $850k. Yuk!

I wouldn't necessarily say yuk, but I don't think he's worth this type of coin either. Payne Haas - absolutely, Fisher-Harris - yep probably, but I don't think there are any other props right now that I'd go that high for - I'd probably offer him 700k per year over 3 years.

Especially given he will have another year in the body as well by the time he comes. No doubt would be a 3yr or more deal. He would be around 32-33 by the time he finishes. Not many props are marquee in their early 30s. Paying 850k is way overs. Max I would go is maybe 850k next year if we can get him early and then 650k years after.

3 yr deal he would be 30 at the end of it ot 32-33 big difference

Some reason thought he was 29 this year but he is 28 in Nov. So would be more comfortable giving him 2yrs and maybe a retirement hit. Can’t see Parra letting him go though.

Problem with paying Paulo that much it may frustrate stef knowing most clubs won’t pay big money for more then one prop! If getting paulo for $850k brings a risk of loosing stef then I wouldn’t go near him!

Curtis is good when he plays, the problem is he spends more time out than in. I think we’ve had more than our share of players like that.
