I have come to the realisation that no one is good enough to wear the mighty Wests Tigers jersey..either too old ,too young play like superman in Origin, or a goody goody or a dickhead a has been or a never was..

So we don't sign anybody..

Yeah, he's been in their system for a few years.

He's depth and fills in when needed.

So yeah that tells me...

He's a reserve grader that gets game time when the starters are injured, suspended or rested.

Jennings has been favoured over him most of the year.

Seen enough to show that there is ability there. I mean seriously, you can't wait until these guys are unearthed or you'll never lure them away from the top clubs without paying overs. Players aren't lining up to sign here. Just because we've taken risks on old flops and lost doesn't mean we have to stop taking risks on young players. People on here crap on about signing deadshits like Vaughan and Paulo who seriously offer nothing that this club doesn't already have. What we don't have is a centre built like a brick shithouse.

Comparing them to Seve is really laughable. Our forward pack sucks and gets dominated against every week.

Re Seve he doesn’t offer us anything different he just adds to our current reserve grade centers. He is solid but struggles in defense, often gets pushed off or caught out. He is also 26 and played 2 games & filled in for the storm this year. Goes against our youth policy as well. If he is the one we think can solve our center issues we are beyond series trouble.

Hi guys, Can any of you guys close to the club confirm Luke Brooks was given permission to negotiate with other clubs and has agreed to join Canberra from 2022, 23,24. I heard this last night from someone involved with junior reps (not at tigers).

Doubt it I think a super league club swap would be the only chance for Brooks

There’d be a few clubs that would be interested in Brooks I reckon. I’d have no issue with him going but we’d better have someone else lined up.

It's definitely surprising that the club is leaving it so late to sign them back on. Their season has been over for ages, should've locked them up straight away.

that BJ will not be offered a new contract.
More money to spend.
He also did mention the names of those we already know are leaving.

Disgree with the forwards comment, the forwards we have are solid, they may have been dominated once by the storm but that was more to do with the speed of the Storms ruck and less to do with the collision. Parramatta dominated us with 2nd phase play and Souths dominated us with their speed, we matched Penriths pack twice and mostly held our own on both occasions. We dominated the Dragons pack twice, a pack Vaughn is a part of.

I never said Seve was a world beater, the world beaters are all signed and sealed up. But he adds some size to our centres depth whether he's our best option or not.

It would appear out junior pathways leads to a locked front door and a wide open back door.

Anyway with the last game tomorrow, we should start getting some news on player movements shortly. Or they might just go into hiding till pre season starts up.

Club is at massive risk of losing another Flegg player in Jordan Hill - Winger.

They have lobbed an extremely low-ball figure (4 figure sum......) with the excuse that he is coming back from an ACL. He is ahead of schedule for rehab even with covid.

There are already better offers for him elsewhere - would be disappointed to see him go.

I'll be filthy if WT balls this one up and Jordan is let go. Seriously this club does my head in and if Hartigan is involved in re-signing him, then he needs to wake to reality and give the kid a decent offer to keep him in WT in colours. Bloody infuriating.

We went after Saab but then pulled out because of JAC….

Saab had a rocky start but came good.
Looks a star.

He was always going to be awesome if given space. He is very young, big and has speed to burn. Will only get better, has hands like Talau at the Dragons. It’s amazing what confidence can do to a kid, he now has hands like glue.

I would argue the "better" that Saab has achieved has a lot to do with Tommy Turbo and DCE putting him in the clear.

Personally I think Reuben Garrick is a fairly ordinary winger but his confidence has really shot up in 2021 and he has also become a try-scoring machine. A lot of things work out for people associated with Tommy Turbo, the bloke is Midas.
