Your too short sighted if you think Madge is the one that needs to sell the vision.
Consider it like this. Compare the average coach tenure to the average per team player tenure. You would find in most clubs players outlast the coach.
The club sells the vision.
Right now I see a desperate underperforming club with a stench of perineal failure since inception arrogantly ignoring the appropriate recommendations for success. Caring less about the football side than they do their own brand / reputations and culminating in a pissing contest by throwing a pit of other peoples money into infrastructure that is designed to make them feel good about their achievements whilst not really actually doing anything to improve the actual point of their existence.
