Both playing finals which is about the ceiling you can hope for when u look at the top rosters.

Key to a rookie coach succeeding would be the assistant coaches around him and club support (say in our instance Director of Coaching - Tim Sheens -support).
What are the key things we are looking for in a coach at the moment:
- establishing a rapport and buy in with a young core and senior players (possible similar position to Penrith 3 years ago).
- attract key signings.
- improve defensive structures.
- best able to implement systems that fit the modern game.
- improve culture.
Need to identify which available coach ticks the most boxes.
Without point two you can throw away the other criteria
And point 2 is one Madge really falls down on, there are others as well
