Tariq Sims ,Adam Elliott would both be huge additions for our mediocre pack of forwards .We may have trouble signing quality players , so if we got the opportunity to grab players of that caliber then we should .

Ogden’s name popped at Brisbane North’s, his manager has approached the Broncos re a second tier or development contract (there is not really any difference for a player who would walk into an Intrust squad). I think NSWRL has a large problem with the number of players/ managers approaching QLD Cup teams, the activity for this time of year is crazy not sure if it is due to COVID or a 2nd Qld team but it will put a strain on resources in SEQ & impact NSW comps.

I’d take fergon in a heart beat experienced winger great finisher and hates loosing and is currently playing in a top 8 team.
People need to remember we are not a destination club we need to build slowly by getting experienced competitors in to help our young guys learn how to Play nrl week in week out because at the moment our senior group is terrible

Well on average not even 9% of Flegg players get to play a NRL game. It’s also very hard over the last 2yrs to identify who has the best chance of making it as the development pathways have all been stuffed up. I think the norm in 3-5yrs time won’t be what we are use to the last few years on kids making it.

We also need to remember that Jersey Flegg is Under 21s and ontop of our actual Jersey Flegg squad we had the following players who were under 21 at the start of the year

So when your looking at our JF players remember all of these are playing NRL or NSW cup when they could have been in a flegg squad still.

Info & content on club youth is an area that AFL has it all over the NRL. It is easy to find contract info, profiles & player performance reviews (every match) by coaches of club-listed players in lower grades (i.e. VFL). Unfortunately in NRL we have to rely mostly on fans posting info. HUUUGGGGGEEEEE opportunity for a club to take the bull by the horns & revolutionise club content in NRL.
