Curtis Scott was awful at Canberra and Storm let him go for good reasons

We need to sign Scott.
Yes, not for overs and not in a bidding war.
The guy is only 23. Won a comp at 19.
If his head is right he will be QUALITY.
And we are beyond desperate for centres

No we don’t. Why would his head be right at a club like ours ? Constantly in the media for the wrong reasons enough as it is. Kepao can play centres start of next season, so can gildart, Tommy will be back before you know it and then you’ve got young blokes. He doesn’t improve our team at all

He is on his last chance and is a quality player.
More importantly he is young.
Kepoa is bog average and apparently Gildart isn’t of First Grade standard.
But thats cool mate, if you wanna play next season again with the same walleys thats cool

All of these suggestions are players with issues or on their way out. FWIW, my opinion is that Scott, Sims, and maybe (just maybe) Taylor are the ones with potential.

Fans were upset about a guy like Elliot possible signing...

Wonder if it'd be the same reaction with this guy....

Cheese is a thousand times better as a player at least. Questionable choice in friends and offseason activities but gun player.

Before last weeks game I posted that Smith was as an injury waiting to happen the way he plays- Storm probably win with him on the field . Whoever signs him for big money is taking a big risk.

An injury prone Smith is still way better than a healthy Liddle

I don't think we're in a position to be picky about certain players our club is all about being gritty no matter your reputation as long as you give 100% we don't care so many we need to take look at the outcasts like Scott like elliot who have something to prove

This is just how we run now.... Its a joke how this club is been run as most clubs are looking at 2023/24 rosters but NOT US we are still yet to get a player signed from the NRL for next year and we have ample money and heaps of roster spots...

I really wonder what goes on in the offices regarding recruitment

Did anyone ever come to think maybe, just maybe this club has learned it’s lesson and isn’t leaking every bloody target to the media.

Even still, promote more flegg and KOE boys and look to use the money to 1) recruitment in 2023, when MUCH better players are available. 2) extend our young stars, they deserve the money more than these absolute bums we’re being linked to.

Well ...you respond to your rant ...the club/Lee is happy to leak all the Madge issues to everyone in the media ...but keeping our powder dry in the media in regards to any possible recruitment or retention

Who gives a rats who we’re playing with. Anyone that thinks people like Scott or Elliot improve our squad , let alone our ladder position, has rocks in their head to put it nicely. Anyone we bring in will just be around for the failure so I could care less whos there

How do you get that from what I’m saying ? Christ it must be a full moon tonight.

I’m more than happy to go into next season with gildart and Hastings as our only recruits instead of wasting cap space on a bunch of losers who don’t improve this squad.
How hard is that to understand
