Sheens can work with Liddle. Liddle doesn't strike me as the Fifita type who was not to Sheens' liking.

Liddle isn’t good enough to be having disagreements with coaches. Should just be learning.

I’m not in on any details just think at this point where he has done not much he should be a sponge, not making waves

There seems to be a lot of rumour about Jacob but not many facts. I believe he is a fine player, one of our better players. We do not have too many of them.

The gap between his best and worst is far too big.

Hopefully he has another big off season and is fitter to start 2022. He has some brilliance in him but we really need consistency rather than flashy.

Agree. He just goes missing at the end of each half, his passing gets worse and he lets in tries. That's not good enough for first grade, we need to carry another 9 on the bench and use 2 subs to get the best out of him. If he could play 60 mins it would be a far better proposition, but he just cant do that for whatever reason

When Sheens gets here he will focus on the kids he wants to keep , you guys need to have some faith as we are not going to be able to keep them all

They could all be gone by then!!

We'd have lost 2 years worth of juniors and completely wasted everything. Our plan to make the finals is to build on our juniors, if we are too lazy and incompetent to attract the talent we recruited we're literally back to square one and the start of our next rebuild. Again .

Surely he is being provided video footage of all the junior footy so he’d know by now who he’d want to keep.

Probably because of the importance of the position he plays. The amount of times he touches the ball means he cannot be that inconsistent. Simpkin is no different at this stage, but he has more scope to improve.

I’m pretty consistent in bagging all our players with only about 4 or 5 guys who play solid FG football.

Probably because of the importance of the position he plays. The amount of times he touches the ball means he cannot be that inconsistent. Simpkin is no different at this stage, but he has more scope to improve.

Not disputing he doesnt have areas of his game he needs addressing but all our guys do. He is our best hooker by along way. Hoping Sheensy can help him further develop his game along with the rest of them.

But he is fitter than Hodgson.

Know it's only talk but it's still kind of refreshing to see ongoing debates or discussions on players such as Korisau and Hodgson. No disrespect to them but it was getting kinda depressing contemplating signing players like Woods, Elliot or Sironen.

JAC not coming. We have an unprofessional administration (maybe the worst in the league in terms of stature) and a hard ass coach, and a bad roster thats not top eight material. The dogs despite being poor for a while, have success ingrained, with deep pockets, some good purchasers, and Barrett's a nice guy. Looking at all the teams in the league we are probably last in terms of where people want to go. Sad but true. Need a new CEO, board, and either back the coach and pay overs for juniors or get a more liked coach, or just pray for another 2005 perfect storm.

Yep . You and I had a big debate 18 months ago roughly, and I was completely wrong . There was/is definitely a rot in the club . I got it completely wrong in hindsight.

I saw Pascoe today at Big W Macquarie Centre.
Asked him straight out if Hodgson is coming and he basically said we are waiting for Canberra to come to the party salary wise.
I said “but they don’t want him hey and he doesn’t wanna be there. So we have the upper hand”. He replied “yeah”.
BTW I didn’t realise he is quite tall
