Round 3 2021 Result TIGERS 24 defeated KNIGHTS 20. Round 10 2021 Result TIGERS 36 defeated KNIGHTS 18. Besides the fact that Mitchell Pearce is off to France, I wonder why the KNIGHTS are so keen on Brooks ?

If you're referring to WT beating the Knights, I believe Newcastle were without Ponga and Pearce in both games.

Pearce got injured mid game (maybe 2nd half ) 1st game from memory

I'd trust your memory over mine mate.

The older I get, I tend to think some things I remember very well, crystal clear in fact. And some things I get mixed up.

I just can't always tell which ones are clear and which ones I might have made up.

I do think if we let brooks go we'd have our eye on another signing in his place. Maybe not at half, but on much the same coin as Brooks is.

That's all good ...I just remember Pearce scoring in his 300th and all the hullabaloo when he did ...maybe that try put the Knights back in front .....

So it was another anniversary game we ruined, like for the Storm boys. Well that's a plus.

Pity we never win any of our boys Annisversary games either lol

The worst Pearce moment was when we had a try disallowed in that semi when Benji and Junior had the handbag at 10 paces tiff .....

Chammas reporting that neither Brooks nor Tigers are prepared to let him go to Newcastle. Tigers apparently settled on him as starting half next year.

Where was that reported. I can’t find it on smh or his Twitter

If 7 clubs decided to sign our deadwood .......I'm for it .....then blame the NRL for bringing the Dolphins in so we couldn't spend our entire cap ......finish in the bottom 2-3 like we will anyway ......

My take on it is we are working out who we let go first.

No one we have been linked to has signed elsewhere so i dont see the issue.

Ill trust the process. Come hit me up and tell me im wrong once its all said and done.

That article makes zero sense. "Tigers want to keep Brooks" but the deal is almost done? He has a Contract until 2023. If the "Tigers want to keep" him, they keep him.

Tigers maintaining they want to keep him, refusing to admit publicly they want to move him on.

All this does is make the Knights pay more of his contract.

If we were dumb enough to say we want to get rid of him we would have to pay most of the contract.

Im confident the club is playing this very smart.

Where's our Valentine Homes, Katoni Staggs, Payne Haas, Taumalolo..

Not only do we not have one, We don't look likely of getting one.

We are building a solid core of good young players. Dont believe the media and as ive said judge us once the squad is complete.
