Not sure if it’s been mentioned, but Michael Ennis has joined Parra’s coaching staff. A match made in heaven.

Wasnt he with the Raiders last year? Didnt last long if he was.

Think Cam Smith showed us that you don't need to be built like the Rock and still can hold your own.

A younger Victor Radley comes to mind as well.

Not sure if he was there this season, but he definitely was at some point.

Can we sign Laurie Daley or Brett Kenny , move brooks to 5/8 and get one of these blokes to assist him as a specialist trainer , Hastings to half and run the team

Sounds like a good idea.

Look Michael Ennis was a decent Hooker, des Hazliers biggest mistake was punting him for Lichaa ..

But yea, Ennis is not the guy you want coaching halves or hooker. Great sledger, alright hooker but would take Farah any day.

Ok our biggest mistake was letting Cronulla buy half our forward pack.

And Gutho

Knights never had a Jersey Flegg side last year.
Played mostly in the local comp off the bench.
Has a few errors in his game by trying to push the off loads.

Is he a potential first grader?

Better get that out of his games. Offloads are not looked fondly upon in our current structure.

Cameron Murray is not a huge forward but he'd be the first picked in forwards for Souths.

Time to sack tuki then ?

Can someone clarify the development players positions?

They are below the top 30?

But can play FG after a certain Round?

Have I got that right?

The only thing he could teach Parra is how to be a grub with no skill or ticker! Hope he is there for free or they have been robbed!

Daley is over rated as a coach. Was a reasonable player but as we saw with SOO he canned Robbie for Nathan Peats...... I think that says enough about his judgement of talent & how to use it!

https://www.weststigers.com.au/news/2021/11/05/wests-tigers-announce-2022-development-players/

**DEVELOPMENT PLAYERS 2022**
Henry O'Kane - 19-year-old Second-Rower. Balmain SG Ball in 2021

Brandon Tumeth - 18-year-old Second-Rower. Balmain SG Ball in 2021

Lomi Saukuru - 19-year-old Second-Rower. Wests SG Ball in 2021

Extremely surprising that we would feel the need to use development contracts on local juniors who are a long way off first grade in 2022 rather than players like Pole, Dillon, Scolari (who have played well in flegg and might be ready to step up soon) or prized recruits from outside the organisation.

Extremely surprising. Especially given they're all forwards.

Some players who have performed much stronger and higher bigger reputations don't get deals, yet these guys do?

O'Kane and Tumeth are good prospects, don't get me wrong, but it's a tad disappointing to see them be the one's given these special contracts.

I have heard Tumeth will push for a debut in 2022, not sure about the other 2 though.

Saukuru is the one I have high hopes for - this kid is a handful on the edges and was a regular try scorer for the magpies this season.
