Brooks has openly said that he doesn't want to be coached by Madge again ..hence why i believe he'll be playing for Newie this season .. for those who say he's still contracted to us for 1 or 2 more years .. so was Moses and Matheson but they left .. all you have to do is use the mental health card and your out.

The question is what do we get out of this possible transfer of Brooks to Newie ..?? I really hope to see Brooks stay as i'd like to see how the Hasting / Brooks combination goes

Here in Canberra there isn't a lot of noise about Hodgson .. either staying or leaving. He isn't that well liked by many down here funny enough .. if i can find out anything i shall you all know .. !! 🙂

Whats really in it for us is we save $800k or whatever rather than simply HOPE that he mite work out ok at 6..or with Hastings..or with Benji ..or without Robbie..blah blah

As for Klemmer..his numbers surprised me.He just doesnt seem to have the impact that he once had,plus hes totally one dimensional with few offloads
Big body,which we need,but somehow just doesnt excite me

If we'd have got him last year, Instead of Tamou I'd be all for it....
I have a feeling Klem left sydney at the time for family reasons (Get away from his old man maybe?)

Klemmer is 6ft 6 and 120kgs..?

Lamb doesn't even shine in a top 4 side - and is only 3 years behind Brooks...
I see absolutely NO upside to that....

Hutchison is the pick of the back up halves over there - And (surprise, surprise) He's not the one the Roosters are trying to unload.

Hutchison sucks.

Maybe - But I feel he's a much better option than Lam

Sure. I see Lam as having greater upside because he's younger and more athletic. Hutchison is more versatile though. Who knows what he's like off-field, what he's earning compared to Hutchison.

Lam would be better for us than Hutchinson, has more ability to break a game open himself. Hutchinson can do his job at roosters well but he's slow and has very little X factor. If we had good systems like them I'd take him but for us Lam is the way to go I'd think as a backup half

Agree. Can also fill in Five-eighth, Halfback, Hooker, Centre and utility so pretty flexible

The upside is getting rid of Brooks and his horrendous contract, time for a fresh start. It's not about a direct comparison (not that Brooks has played much better than him) it's about getting rid of a bad contract of a player who isn't working for us and making sure we have depth in the halves

Lam would 100% be a fill in until Doueihi is back

If we're getting rid of player that aren't working for us, Why are we only stopping at Brooks? Why is Brooks the only issue?
Is it Brooks fault the overpriced winger can't defend his wing for (are you ready for it) 1 WHOLE YEAR LONGER THAN BROOKS!!

If we're getting rid of Players that aren't working for us - She'll be a lonely old pre-season. Brooks hasn't fired for a while.... But If I was to list the issues with our current squad - Brooks wouldn't be in the top 12.

Id be very happy to move Noffa on, but just like Ive said about Brooks, who do we replace him with that is better?

There is no chance Newcastle allow Best to leave, nor would Best agree to it. Don't know why you would suggest the trade given it is not a possibility.

The Tigers won’t release Brooks it won’t be happening. I’d be causing trouble and demanding Ponga also.

Okay so Brooks doesn't want to be coached by Madge, however Luke clearly opened up and stated that he is still fully committed to the club after reiterated with Tigers officials for several weeks. I'm confused.
It's either one or the other.
