Hastings might fill that role.

I think Hastings has a lot of potential to be the half we need. He’s loud and controlling yet has composure.

It definitely wakes up our players, something the club has needed but hasn't really had for around 10 years.

Supporters also wanted a coach who would rip into players, and they finally got one with Madge. Had no affect. Screaming and shouting isn’t the answer to the problem.

Agreed. We need Hastings to be a gun half. If he is yelling and screaming and playing terribly it has no benefit. We need good first graders who win us games.

I can understand wanting him for 2022 because the market is dry. Surely there are better options for ‘23 though.
