A National draft system like the AFL use has to come into play soon in the NRL, or the richer clubs will continue to abuse the CAP system that the NRL currently use .. it’s not a CAP system, it’s a CRAP system and every club and supporter knows it .. !!

Agreed very cautious with his funds. That’s what I’m saying would be great if he wanted to make us his play thing and go hard to get the club up there but it’s not going to happen.

Nope, Would have happened by now...
He wanted to buy it outright....
But there's too many people with jobs they don't deserve that wanted to keep said jobs... So they didn't sell it.
Might be a different story if they did.

The current set up instigated and followed by the NRL only encourages greedy rich clubs to become richer and the other clubs to do whatever they can do to survive and be somehow competitive.

Surely if Cotric goes back to Canberra then we'd have to go hard for a few of their young backs. Make Simmondson a big offer, HSS, or Timoko too. They can't all be on the field at the same time.

The current set up instigated and followed by the NRL only encourages greedy rich clubs to become richer and the other clubs to do whatever they can do to survive and be somehow competitive.

All while being guilty of wilfully blindness, re illegal 3rd party payments - at least for some teams. I'd say it's practically endorsing, (you may even thereby say even being complicit) in underhanded activity which kills completion and is completely unlawful. I wish there was an investigation, but there will never be.
