@Aubanon I heard that Jordan had his tests done with the surgeon and physio and at 7 months post op he’s way ahead of schedule.

Luki and Nanai are both uncontracted for 22

They’re both off-contract at the END of ‘22.

Both are signed to North Queensland for the 2022 season on Top 30 deals.

So can’t they offer one or both for Leilua in a swap for ‘22

They can. If we sign Nanai for 23, the swap will happen. Luki more likely to Newcastle

If we can sign either for 23 then an immediate swap seems likely. We did the same when we signed Tuki and Cowboys signed Bradley for 22 and they did a swap a year early

Those were 2 players on minimum contracts though. The Cows might not have enough in their cap to accommodate Luc this year. In saying that, I wouldn’t mind seeing him gone. Now that Xmas has come and gone, it won’t be till February when things like a swap or a Stef announcement will start becoming a possibility again.

could we not get them here and spare some change on trading Lucy,but who will step up ,we need some steel ,can the new coaching system instill that in them,how much more really will Brookes give us to spend when he go's.lol.

I also heard he’s related to David Peachey, that explains his immense natural talent

As a junior trying to rise through the ranks it’s quite often effort is needed by the player not only on field but in liaising with people across the club think they call it networking. You can’t just wait for things to happen as you can get lost in the pile because you aren’t in their minds.
Not saying this is directly attributed to hill but have seen others affected this way.

Seems like they did want to keep him, hence the two failed roosters appointees (Hala and Hartigan) arranging the meetings but failing to follow through.

Says more about them than the kid who had big wraps, tried hard and wanted to stay but had to take an offer from another club because those two couldn't do their job.

No wonder they got sacked.
