The signings of Pap and Api won't hurt though. He's not being (by the Tigers) signed as the next messiah, would be coming into a pretty good pack. I still think we'd need to be offering the most or near most $$$ though, if that's what it ends up coming down to.

haha delusional maybe. I know everyone is excited for 2023, but I am actually really happy with our signings for 2022. I was a fan of Gildart and especially Hastings before we signed them. Hastings I think is a transformational signing for our club, he is just what we need. Junior Tupou came out of the blue but looks like it could have been an awesome signing, don't want to jinx him though. Peachey will be good for us too. To'a had big raps (wraps?) on him as a junior so quietly confident there too.
Im concerned we'd be after a bloke who cant get a start in Cows set up. Asi was primarily a 6 who got moved around the centres and bench a bit early on. Played a couple good games at 6 but was rubbish anywhere else.
you can only have so many of those potential signings in the same positions though. we have to'a, tupou and gildart, all better credentialled than him so it's a pass from me.
