The word out of North Queensland is supporters are *issed that the club paid overs for young Luki, an inexperienced player who apparently had no intentions of leaving the club.Jeremiah Nanai would be an excellent signing. Hope we make a real offer to him, future star
he was signed as a prop. may not play there, but was signed that wayHave to remember we have Pap signed for ‘23. I doubt we’d be getting into bidding wars for another back rower, prodigy or not. Now, if he was a centre, different story.
If he plays in the middle, I’d think it would be at 13. It’s his preference to play in the middle.he was signed as a prop. may not play there, but was signed that way
I agree, the dolphins will chase him hard also. Not very hopeful of actually landing himHow many games
Im assuming he’s a born and bred Nth Qlder. If that’s the case, it would take a hell of a lot to get an 18 year old like that down to Sydney. Especially when a handful of other clubs are also interested. Would be hard for us to stand out as the club to go with.
not discrediting Pom's info and I've always loved his posts, but if senior management is now in the dark on football matters merely minutes before a signing is made then what he knows might be very outdated information. The pom already confirmed he intends to stay in qld unfortunately
Situations change. His preference may have been to stay in NQLD but if that is no longer an option then he has to weigh up the other offers. Until he signs elsewhere there’s always a chance.not discrediting Pom's info and I've always loved his posts, but if senior management is now in the dark on football matters merely minutes before a signing is made then what he knows might be very outdated information.
our offer for Nanai is considerably better than the one from the cows and there's a clearer path to consistent footy with us. I'm probably wrong but who knows? stranger things have happened.
Daejarn Asi's manager is shopping him around and WT have shown strong interest. Off contract at the end of this year. I believe he can play centre.
Wonder what The Pom knows?
Once Gildart, To'a and Tupou start scoring approximately 600 tries a game, which will happen shortly, we won't be looking for centres anymore.Daejarn Asi's manager is shopping him around and WT have shown strong interest. Off contract at the end of this year. I believe he can play centre.

On NRL.com its says Connelly Lemuelu is making the move to 2nd row at the Cowboys. They seem stacked in this position.
No, he was signed as a back rower and that's exactly where he'll be playing.he was signed as a prop. may not play there, but was signed that way

I watched Illias play in the HM Balmain match prior to the SGBall game which featured Papenhuyzen, Suli, Douehi and Seyfarth playing for Balmain. The Inner West is a gold mine of talent.
The signings of Pap and Api won't hurt though. He's not being (by the Tigers) signed as the next messiah, would be coming into a pretty good pack. I still think we'd need to be offering the most or near most $$$ though, if that's what it ends up coming down to.How many games
