“I love the Sharks,” Nikora said.
“And, of course, I would love to stay here. But I also have to think about what is best for myself and my family at this stage of my career. I have to consider what is out there. I really just want to stay out of all this and concentrate on my football.”
Nikora admitted that he could be tempted by a monster offer from the Tigers.
“I know Madge (Wests Tigers coach Michael Maguire) from the Kiwis and he is a good fella and a good coach,” Nikora said.“I have a few things to weigh up but as I said, no decisions have been made and my manager will sort it out.”
Nikora said he will be available to play next week after missing the clash against the Storm because of Covid.
“I will be out of isolation on Monday,” Nikora said.
“It is a bummer I missed out on the game but I am hoping to be back for next week.

Why not release Luch now and Tuilagi to be honest. We arent making the finals in 2022 so release them now and use the cash to front pay blokes we are keeping or even pay more of Luke Brooks's 2023 deal so we have more cap available next year

I reckon Wests Magpies did that years ago when they signed (I think) four players from Canterbury including Langmack, Farrar, Gillespie and Joe Thomas. I reckon that got them all in a room and got them to sign at the same time. They made a huge difference to Wests on-fiel;d performances. Good players will come if they know other good players are coming too.

Fingers crossed with this one. Even if he is on the fence with Madge as coach, being succeeded by either of the two former Cronulla coaches should make him feel comfortable in our colours.
Any idea what’s the massive offer?
500k a season or something?

I get it he’s trying to get as much money as possible and doesn’t want to stuff it up so he just leaves ut all up to the professional he has paid to do all the work

Because theyre probably theyre our best players on form atbthe moments and they're both leaving for significant $$$ upgrades.
 
So why hasn’t Munster been offered a captain/coach 5 million dollar contract to play fullback? Haha kidding but seriously if there is anything we can possibly do to get him at FB it needs to be done

Breach the cap for all i care, he will come, some good players will follow, we will get all our points deducted for a season and in the interim we would have completed the contracts of dead wood, i.e Brooks, Laurie, Nofa, Mbye (still paying him) etc.

We come out of it with a decent squad who have had time to gel, our dumb ceo gets the punt and happy days

This isn’t a silly idea. It would be really rough on their replacements though who clearly wouldn’t be ready for FG

The caveat is that we still may not attract better players and Puss-go’s circus rolls on 🤡
