Thats a bargain for me.. He is still young and covers a few positions. That would depend on the Warriors, can certainly fit him in this year. 2 year deal starting in 2023 money wise is $300-$350k per year.

Also the switch to smaller more mobile second row forwards may signal a change in the way we play to accommodate the faster pace of the game?Sheens loves a small backrower/centre.
He's been chasing one since his returned.
Seems like he'll get what he wanted.
Sheens style since 2005.Also the switch to smaller more mobile second row forwards may signal a change in the way we play to accommodate the faster pace of the game?
I'm surprised he doesn't have more offers at that kind of price. Good business for a guy averaging ~90m and 36 tackles a game shortly after making the switch to 2nd row. That would depend on the Warriors, can certainly fit him in this year. 2 year deal starting in 2023 money wise is $300-$350k per year.
I remember you saying this.In 2019 we had a really good look at Aitken before he signed with warriors, he is just what we need can play centre and also second row and perfect bench utility if needed and he does not want to relocate to NZ for 2023. Get it done tigers
Total 80's boys club there.Canberra roster clean out expected after 2022 season: Canberra raiders "insiders" have said no matter where the team places this year, There will be a major clean out of the organisation this is coming off the 21-20 loss to the Warriors Saturday. Ceo Don Furner didn't hold back when asked about the loss stating "the players should be embarrassed with their performance" and defended under pressure coach Ricky Stuart stating " Ricky isn't out there throwing stupid passes"
Garner told the club in pre season he would be leaving to head to manly this was before kelmas deal was done I don't think anything has changed with him leaving but it won't be to manly. Redcliffe , Penrith and ESL are the options for him so farim not adverse to the signing of Aitken gives us cover in positions we are vert light in, plays 80 hes solid without being outstanding. Sometimes you need those dependable players in your ranks especially if we have juniors coming through the system that may break through in the next year or so.
Also @THE_POM Or @Lee's fedora any rumblings about whether or not Garner may be retained?
Can't get overly excited by this.
Time for recruitment to start making some moves. No Kelma, probably no Mikaele, probs no Tamou, no Garner. None of these blokes are world beaters but they'll be better than any 20yo we have in KOE Cup or Flegg. And if the plan is to play those 20yos I guess we'll see them a bit this season.Garner told the club in pre season he would be leaving to head to manly this was before kelmas deal was done I don't think anything has changed with him leaving but it won't be to manly. I like it, he is a no nonsense player.Euan Aitken set to meet with Wests Tigers officials for a potential move in 2023
We are looking at players coming through who are ready but are stuck behind older blokes like Frank Pele , Royce Hunt and Jackson TopineTime for recruitment to start making some moves.
