No doubt the recruitment of both players would a be a big win especially when competing with the Dolphins.Getting dykes and Chrichton over the line would put me in the 'expect to make the 8 next year' camp

As long as its not this week...Burton could be a better fullback than 5/8.
He has a really elite skillset however has looked better at centre than 6.
Moving him to fullback could prove a master stroke.
Some club should try it....
J’maine Hopgood has been mentioned on the forum as a Tiger’s target. Have you heard any talk of that? The club will officially offer Angus Crichton a 3 year contract this week worth close to $2.2million over the span of the contract, sticking point will be the issue of who will be coach as we are main attraction to him to be back under Madge.
Also Doueihi is being put through his paces today & has an appointment this afternoon with a specialist to be cleared to play this Friday.
Luke Brooks early indication is grade 1 hamstring 2-4 weeks.
The talk of Franklin Pele is new to anyone at the club, his management last informed the club he had better offers elsewhere.
Club also trying to fast track a move for Kade Dykes this week, they want him at the club before the bye round. 2023 terms agreed upon.
We lost against the Dogs in the final round of 2021.As long as its not this week...

Bit of a reverse Lockyer.Probably can't happen now - He's hit next level pay grade.
18 Months ago, You could afford to trial him there... Wouldn't cost you too much, And you'd be granted the time to experiment.
Now, There's a perception of where he should play by all and sundry - And he's on a fair wicket - Kinda beyond experimenting wicket....
I've been calling for it since he couldn't get a start at 6 at the Panthers...
He's body shape really could be something back there... He'd need to get his miles / fitness up...
I'd pay to see it happen. Here especially....
Agree.I've said it all year - This year, We have the weakest squad on paper....
But we're not playing like the weakest team
We're almost over achieving to be in games....
Hey champion @supercoach - mate, your posts are real but I would never say negative.I am probably one of the most negative people on this forum, but I have seen enough change in our club this year to give Madge a go next year with a far better roster. Iam sure if the injury gods had been kinder and the likes of Sutton,Gee and a few others had been hit by a cement mixer we would be boarder line top 8 now.
What are you talking about i dont participate? Ive been part of the forum since circa 2002 back in its early days. Kul does an amazing job. Willow was a power hungry Joseph Stalin1000% false. Why Kul listened to a handful of complaining idiots rather than the 95% of members who were happy is beyond comprehension.
And you're opinion doesn't carry any weight, how many times have you participated in the forum? A handful of times?
Kul should only listen to feedback from Legends, they've earned the right to be heard
Tactically would be inclined to extend Madge now for a further year taking him out to 24. This I think would satisfy Crichtons camp and sends a message to our players and any further prospective recruits,eg Tapine whom also wants to be under Madge. Get it done Sheens

I assume you are across the end of year review comments and what feedback was given to madge and why the assistants were appointed? and Madge's response? I'll bet no answer to this oneWeren't we handcuffed to Maguire's original assistants? Didn't the club intervene to bring in Sheens and have two new assistants appointed? The Club's decisions were wise. I hope we have not returned to the bad old days of self interest ahead of the WTs.
I understand the need for corporate confidentiality and no doubt you are well aware a supporter is not privy to that information. I also understand the posts on this forum which attempt to link a player signing with the club to the coach's tenure are divisive and unprofessional. Let the coach's fate be determined by results.I assume you are across the end of year review comments and what feedback was given to madge and why the assistants were appointed? and Madge's response? I'll bet no answer to this one
Mate I get down and very negative with our club, especially over the past few years..but I like what I am seeing at present, even if it’s not transferring into wins. For the first time in yonks there seems real spirit in the placeHey champion @supercoach - mate, your posts are real but I would never say negative.
I remember a few years ago the general gist from players is they wanted to play for Madge, but they didn't want to play for the Wests Tigers at the time. Now that we have become a bit more stable, players are showing their interest.I think we all have to take note of how many good Quilty players want to play under Madge this was never going to be a simple rebuild it was always going to take time but we are starting to see what he is capable of I think he’s the man the lead this team forward and he deserves a chance with the roster he is building
