Hard to keep that one under wraps. He'd be involved now prior to the announcement.
If the players need to know who the coach is going to be you’d expect them to keep that news to themselves. Hah!

Yeah?I'd say all recruitment and retention will be placed on hold until the coach is sorted. Hopefully it's done quickly because as Sheens has said 1000 times November is coming. Fitzgibbon was able to lure Hynes and Finucane to Cronulla, if we can get Ciraldo or Morris there's no reason why we can't do similar.
granted the market is dry at the moment but there's always a possibility that a player comes available. no one will even consider us until there's a permanent coach in place.Yeah?
How many Finucanes, Hynes, TPJs, McInness are off contract currently?
I am the GSP to your BispingWhile we're going...
We'll swap the Storm Coates for Nofoaluma
Swap the Broncos Haas for Twal
Swap the Roosters Laurie for Tedesco
And swap Blore for Olakuatu at Manly...
This ain't fantasy football buddy 😂😂😂😂
It’s also been made apparent to somebody that I know that he’s our first preference. Would be necessary that he renege on Penrith’s offer, and agree to be here no later than 2023.Imo @CCTW has the best info on this forum
Mentioned something about us and Ciraldo with terms potentially being agreed soon, if he cares to explain more I’ll leave that to him
Same as Madge?possible....
The other 3 could all have the same manager as well.
@Lee's fedora the man. Better strike rate than Bryce or jordyImo @CCTW has the best info on this forum

Man every single job ever has people like that in them . Champion blokes , hard workers m but not getting the job done yo whatever measure that’s being applied . Its not fair , but especially in situations like this , how can anyone be sure that this isn’t the right decision , including the playing group.Maybe not directly....
But when you've just watched a bloke who works as hard as anyone you've known, Who you respect and enjoy working for been shafted like he doesn't matter....
What makes you think anyone with a half a brain would be lining up for 3 years of possibly being treated the same...
Everything above except confirming Ciraldo is the post.Imo @CCTW has the best info on this forum

I’m sad the players couldn’t get the results for a champion in Madge . Or that the club failed him in whatever facet . But at the end of the day , the drums are beating loudly that we are a basket case , and at what point does the NRL start to look at licensing .Man every single job ever has people like that in them . Surely there’s a thought in the back of their head wondering if the game day tactics are the right ones , especially because we lose all the time . Or if the bloke next to them is the right player etc. Especially if at training , like Tamou said, the the execution is there and everyone is putting in .
I think it’s simple minded to just say ,Madge is my coach that’s it. I mean what if Noddy walks in there today and says we are changing X game plan , and on the weekend we put 60 on them. As an extreme hypothetical . At what point do the players loyal as all get out start to ask the right questions .

Yea I know im being blasphemous right now , but I think the big reason we are going so well in attack has less to do with Hastings at 7 and more to do with brooks at 6. And to clarify that , what I mean is , it pushes him wider , and shows how we needed someone hyper focused on organising the middle and someone else the backs . It’s more a blueprint moving forward on what we should do .Don't disagree with any of that mate - But I can't assume (Or anyone can)
How they feel about someone, Or how someone was treated.
And maybe a few wins might change their mind...
But there is also an ultimate downside to your extreme hypothetical yeah...
What happens if we fall in a heap and get lapped by 60 in the next 12 games after Madge and Noddy change it up...
My response to someone that said they can't see Jacko leaving just because Madge is sacked...
The reality is he came to play for Madge and we're only 50/50 keeping him at best with Madge here and not winning.... Now, I certainly see him leaving - Not that it concerns me greatly...
My point is Madge and Jackos relationship might not mean anything to us - but might mean the world to Jacko and a bunch of other players...

But His edge defence is not strong IMO, whilst his first contact is . Which means IMO he’s way more suitable to the middle . He poses limited threat running the ball as well . His organising is great , and his chip is world class , but his long kicking game is average . I’m not trying to be hyper critical , but if we find a way to play him at 13 and maximise his strength which is his organising skills , and leadership that would be most ideal .
But that’s not to say there isn’t a player out there who can do those things .
I’m just not panicking like many on here . AD is the one we need to keep. He genuinely bleeds black white and orange , and his loyalty is to the tigers I think first and foremost . We have to remind him how important he is to the club.
Agree .He's got a football brain, And He talks well on the field...
For the moment, I don't care if he touches the ball at all.
As long as his head is out there and he's talking.
Our other players haven't got a football IQ between them
Wayne told AD to leave South’s.he left salford for Wigan
if AD is told to play 13 he may get the Edgar Brits and head to uncle Wayne
Ciraldo then Morris. Like it.It’s also been made apparent to somebody that I know that he’s our first preference. Would be necessary that he renege on Penrith’s offer, and agree to be here no later than 2023.
If these terms cannot be negotiated then Morris’ in. Junior pathways looking good and fair cap to spend
Would be thrilled with iether I don’t even think I have a preference both have plenty of upsideCiraldo then Morris. Like it.
Needs to be soon though. No later then end of state of origin
