Been a few years since i’ve played in the number 1, but it’s not like the current number 1 has set the bar very high. You better polish off ya boots and get your head gear ready lol the full back position is up for grabs

I love what Hastings has brought to us but
A) not convinced him and Doeuhi have the speed as a combo
B) if hasting is seen as a lock then im not convinced he is our future
Given that then if we had a Douehi/ Moses combo it would be brilliant and them Matmua at lock given that is his best position
And anything is an improvement on BrooksPeople are so desperate to have anyone but Brooks, they will settle for anything.
Doesn’t mean its going to improve the results though. Aim higher. And anything is an improvement on Brooks
I want to see them at least have a game together before I give up on them as a good option.AD and Hastings is an incredibly low bar to have as your dream halves pairing....
We have money - Players we could move...
Aim higher.
One could think improving the roster will.also improve the results.Doesn’t mean its going to improve the results though. Aim higher.
To dogs?I’m not sure about that…..
im not saying Edwards isnt a clear upgrade because he obviously is. But, IMO he is not one of the top fullbacks and don't really see him improving our team. He offers so little creativity. His 200+m games at Penrith could not be repeated here as we let the opposition march down the field and as such we don't force the long clearing kicks that would allow him to rack up kick return metres.Yeah mate, Agreed....
He'd have a game of running 300m one week - And dropping 12 bombs the next.
I don't know he'd do here what he's doing there, But he also may well do more.
Either way - He'd certainly be doing more than what we got.

If they are your halves with some quality forwards in front of them I think they would do an excellent job.. You could put Cronk and Munster in the halves behind our forwards and they would struggle.. All comes down to a better platform laid
agreed, id be very pleased if the club landed KatoaYep i've been thinking the same thing. Could be a Papali'i type signing. Young highly rated player falls down the pecking order and needs a fresh start to rekindle his fire. Wouldn't cost too much and would give us some depth in the back row if Blore needs easing in.

Hastings has plateaued somewhat...
All I see now is "How many touches" he has....
Touch the ball all he likes, Need quality - Not Quantity.
He was great the parra and souths game.
Means little to me....
He's not ousting anyone at Parra or Souths...
Might of been there to see how far his game has to come in this comp.
Is this for real or just chatter here? I do the old read a few skip a few in this thread? They need a centre you'd think....
Cows and Bronks have shown you can turn around fortunes reasonably quickly.
I can see it now… Keary medically retired and Manu straight into the 6.Won't get Manu....
Teddy on the other hand.
Manu has 6 years or more left in him, Teddy - 3-4 Max.
