I thought we were moving him on next year anyway.The Roosters could announce the shock signing of Oliver Gildart as soon as Monday after negotiating a loan deal with the Tigers.
In what would be a win for both clubs, News Corp understands the Tigers have agreed to loan out the English centre for the remainder of the year in a move that will allow them to offer contract upgrades to players they are looking to re-sign beyond the end of the year.

If the club is thinking of moving on Hastings it would be a big mistake. The way he organises and his talking on the field is 10 out of 10. Before going off the field, in my opinion he was orchestrating the win, I hope the club keeps him.

Is Gildart gone for 2023 and beyond? That’s the key.
I think we will see one new player and 1 upgrade today but who knows. Def feels we are creating lots of space for next year - mayby we can front pay all of Brooks contract for next yr in this yrs cap so if we release him to someone else we get a cap benefit next year and dont pay him a cent

Eg If LB leaves, we have a $ 1.2 million to fill in our cap next year. I feel the club is looking to sign a top tier player. If you spend it to buy 3 to 4 players you,ll end up with a top 40. Cap must be spent, apart from the young , no one really will gat a big up grade based on this years showings. My thoughts.
