I did hear somewhere there is stack of them around Birchgrove.

P.S I assume the girl lost the back of her scull, not her skull.

The key is the forward pack you have to work off.
In Penriths case their missing link was Hooker.
When Segy was on fire they Pushed top teams in 13, finished top 4 in 14, Korisou provided enough cover in 15 but in 16 Segy went off the rails and Korisou left for Manly. They lacked that killer blow for the next 3 years, Wallace filled in amicably and managed to do a job but it just wasn’t enough.
All through though you have a look at the forward pack they had at their disposal.
They were able to provide enough for the young halves to play off the back of.

Yep and most of them local juniors.
 
I feel sorry for all the fans on this forum particularly in this signings suggestions and rumours thread . We've been working our butts off scavaging through all the left overs and club rejects trying to improve our roster .We even fantasise about some high level recruits . However in the real world don't see a lot going on .
If Tim thinks the exciting stuff in the pipeline is our internal junior development then I don't want to wait till 2025 where I'm sure we will unearth a few greats but I'm getting old and impatient.

Agree. We had Brooks, Moses and Tedesco all come through at the same time and we still couldn't make the 8. The juniors line is just to take the focus off the inability to sign players.

We were on the right track with Hastings followed by Papali'i and Api coming, but the mid season drama has put us back to square one where we are resorting to re-signing players that no one wants.

Those years, we didn’t have 1 recognisable backrowever. Either a rookie was promoted or a converted centre, 5/8 or front rower played there.
We had three Sophomore props and One old tough bloke that was playing through injury until he retired. All the cash went to keeping these 3 kids happy but we had no cash to build around them. Build the base before the talent. The Melbourne Storm model.
