This is undoubtedly a good thing, but it's not a point of difference. The team that put 70 on us the other day is leading the Flegg ladder - all the big clubs have large and very successful development programs.Sheens also made mention of the fact there has been an increased allocation to retaining our best juniors and referenced the U20s team being at the head of our Pathways. Surely this proactive approach should be acknowledged with more than the usual pitchforks.
It's taken us 20+ years to try and catch up - but we still need more if we're going to be a successful club.
