I think our pack is three recruits short of competing with the good packs, providing we recruit the right types. Api and Pappi are good starts but not enough. If we're hoping that Stef and Blore will step up, that's a huge gamble. You'd expect Pole to continue to develop but it's still not enough.
Looking at the final games so far, our pack is light years behind every other pack. We're not even in the same galaxy. Assuming we can't do both, focus on forwards for 2023 and hopefully add some good backs in 2024.

Would be worthwhile to spend the next two years under Sheens building up our pack. Look across the finalist teams and a lot of the outside backs are young, powerful and skillful. It’s not worth wasting money on backs until you have a forward pack that can handle the contest. Canberra have been able to compete in this competition since the 2nd season of Ricky taking charge (2015) because of the forward pack they built. Their bench of the following would all get starting positions in most sides.

I still don’t think that LL is worth anywhere near the $700K the Cows are paying.
Just shows that once a player signs with another club, they give up trying and are not worth a squirt of ****.

Not all players are like that just look at Api and papi they still kept up their form for their teams

That was such a stupid comment. It was Vautin. He was consistently one of our best players. He is playing exactly the same way for them as he did for us.

I wish we'd kept him. Him and IP would be a great edge backrow combination.

Not exactly, he was consistent but poorly managed by Fadge. What a surprise, Toddy playing him off the bench and giving him the starting jersey, like I said Fadge should do! That was one of Fadges biggest issues not playing the players to their strengths and his bench rotation. Just shocking

Klein has no"feel" for the game at all,he may know the rules but his application of them is terrible.It just reinforces yet again how this refereeing junta is destroying the game

Jordan Hill - can do anything that bloke. I’ve got no idea what he looks like, but I’ve heard good things on here.
