No.... He just logs in occasionally to see if anyone asks for info... I mean you can't share info if no one's asked.

Why is Dom Young's name getting thrown around? It would be the fleece of the year if Newcastle gave him up for anyone. His ceiling is very high. Can't see a world where he leaves Newcastle unless he is after big money elsewhere.

We've reportedly given him a verbal offer as have 4-5 other clubs. With all the crap going on up at Newie maybe he prefers a switch to the city? We desperately need someone in the backs with some x factor.
Give Newie the Nof in exchange if that helps sweeten the deal!!

I would love to be in the mix for a player like Dom Young, so if there is a chance I am glad we are in the mix. Where did you hear we'd made a verbal offer?

I’m fine with TT staying another year, if he pulls through we will get 1st crack at him. He has upside and backrow has been calling for a while so be good to see him train as a backrower and see how he folds out with a good year or so in the gym getting ready for it

Yep. Matulino was a class player for years. He was routinely making 150m+ a game with plenty of quality offloads during his peak at the Warriors. Just got failed by his body when he came over.

Then Packer's problem was the money and the fact his heart wasn't in footy anymore mid-way through that deal - higher education and his future career had him with one foot out the door already.

Klemmer doesn't come with either of these issues (at least as far as I'm aware) and is a better player than both were at the time we signed them.

it seems like there is a lot of love for Klemmer here and I’m no expert on what it takes to turn a struggling club around, I don’t think many on here are but opinions are totally valid and mine on Klemmer seems to be against the grain.
So I’ll leave it at that.
I hope we don’t sign him but if we do congrats to you guys who want it to happen.

Great post Earl. Matulino really put in for WTs when he was on the field. That pass in the final minutes against the Storm in Melbourne to win us the game was outstanding.

Big Ben was excellent for the Tigers gave everything he had always put in effort on effort imagine him helping the kids now would be great

Honestly, that sounds terrible but glad we didn't see him.... he is rinsed.

He is too damaged to continue playing.

He didn’t play last year at all and he’s never played, as far as I know, a senior game in the back row. He needs games to get his match fitness back and to get a feel for a new position. Starting him too early could be a disaster.
