I think Sheens is just foxing to get a good deal from Newcastle, but you might be right. As we know, Sheens did think John Morris would be our "Cooper Cronk" and signed Braith Anasta to play 7.

My question was why *you* want Hastings gone. Just because Sheens may think something, it doesn't mean you have to think the same thing.

if Hastings doesn't want to play 13 then he may as well go, 2023 likely LB and AD in the halves may as well get klemmer if Newcastle are up for that.
*You* may not like it but Sheens probably sees Brooks in the halves for 2023 and won't release him early
